They should get a reality check that in North American the cost of living is through the roof. In Toronto you need 2500 just for a small one bedroom place and the weather is all over the place and it’s very difficult to get a job. So I’d rather be In Vallarta

I just found your channel and am also looking at the temporary Visa application. I haven't found a CZcamsr who has gone into detail on this process? I'm confused as to the letter of no criminal record (what do they accept and where do you get it?). Also I understand the 12 months of bank statements but then it says in the fine print electronic bank records should be signed and/or stamped by the bank or a letter from your financial institution indicating full name details about your account and ending balance of each of the previous 12 mos and letter must be signed by hand. Signed by whom? Am I the only one that finds this confusing and not straight forward? LOL. I see Mexico relocation guide has a list of honest facilitators but they want $495 to get that list. I am on a budget and would like to just know the answers to these questions without spending a ton of money! Thanks!

We hated the French Canadiens when they first started to come to Vallarta. Snobs, demanding and did not tip at all or would leave a few coins. Our income went down . Some would use the excuse that they thought that the tip was already included in the bill. Fourtunatly I worked at El Set and you had to take a taxi, so they being cheap would not come to our beautiful restaurant to often! Most of our guest were wealthy Americana and Mexicanos that knew how to tip. Usually around 20% or more.

Hello from Arizona! Sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye before I came back to Arizona. I love PV and my experiences there this time were great. I left for medical reasons and it would have cost too much to have the procedures done in Mexico. My healthcare is all free here as I am a disabled veteran. So everything health wise is going good for me now. I’ve got to make a decision about my traveling outside of the US , but it will probably mean my taking a couple of longer vacations each year to PV as opposed to living there year round. Anyway, glad to see your still doing well there and are now on your own vacation in Canada. I love your channel and I just adore your boys, they are so cute and mischievous!🤭😊

Glad you are back. When you are ready to travel in Mexico. Loreto in Baja Calif.Sur is an unbelievable place. Totally different than P.V. Since you are in BCS, drive down to La Paz and San Jose del Cabo too.

MX seems so spoiled near the beaches any more; gets tired fast. Every beach has cartels selling drugs, openly, can't enjoy the beach without hawkers constantly approaching; very tired. Much better to get away from America all together, and enjoy the 3rd world.

You mentioned you drive but I don't believe you mentioned how much you pay for car insurance??

My wife and I are from London Ontario. We moved to Queretaro Mexico. Lived there for 3 years. We never really felt happy about going back to canada as we feel we dont fit in anymore. We have since left mexico and are currently in Spain, our plan is to see Europe over the next few years.

My wife and i budget $10k USD per month for travel. We have not yet spent anywhere near that in Mexico. We splurge on our rentals by ataying on or very near the beach, and we do some touristy things that get expenaive. We never eat in "fancy" restaurants, but either cook at home or eat in the local spots, so our food doesn't cost too much. We also include airfare in our monthly budget, so $2k gors just to travel. We aren't really looking to relocate outside the US, but we are trying to spend a month at a time in various places to really get a feel for what life is like. Mexico is definitely our favorite country to visit because of the climate and the people. We much prefer it over Europe and Asia. Language isn't much of a barrier in most of Mexico, and my wife really speaks minimal Spanish. Don't try that in Bulgaria or Thailand.

I moved from Mexico to Canada, and tipping here is also expected, and kind of more imposed, or that is how it feels to me. Also in Canada taxes are not included, what drives me crazy! In Mexico the price you see is the price you pay! Which is so convenient. Thank you for talking about pedestrians crossing the street, that is SO important!

Yes people do leave Puerto Vallarta and many people move into Puerto Vallarta.I think people who leave any place because they miss family ( duh ) what did you think.It's like if you live near the beach all your life and now you move to a desert town do you think you might miss the beach.If you are not ready to move away from family then don't move.I would not want to live in Puerto Vallarta it's too touristy for me and I prefer colonial towns over beach cities, but I would love to visit Puerto Vallarta .

Damn I was born and raised in PV, Im 23 and ive seen this small place grow. If you are working remote please drop some sauce on how you can land a job that allows you to live here

a good tip if you go in the summer and rainy season: bring the biggest umbrella you can and the tallest water proof boots you can find, becasue the streets will get flooded a lot, the rain here is not just rain, is a monsun.

We are planing to go back to PV in 2025 after enjoying the city (PV and NV) a few months ago. Feedback, last year, you made a political comment with regards to our PM🇨🇦…you don’t like him, fine, however I would keep political comments to a minimum as you risk losing subscribers. Cheers from NB🇨🇦

I think living in Vallarta is very challenging, there are many pros and cons for sure, and to live here you have to accept them, especially accept the fact that PV is a very small town. I stay for PV's beautiful environment, air, and food. The fruits, veggies, and carne here are world class. I'd recommend to anyone considering staying here long haul - to live as near to one of the grocery stores as possible, it will make life mich easier here.
