If you put whole cloves around your plants, it will keep the ants away. I've never tried clove oil, but have heard that works as well. I heard about this when I used to own a preschool and had an ant problem. I needed a nontoxic solution. It worked great!

The sauce looked delicious. Do you wash your fruit and veggies with the chemical spray or just water? I forgot what the spray is called. Do you leave the eggs out or fridge them?
Thank you 😊 Yes we wash them with a product called Microbicida or if we run out just vinegar. We usually refrigerate the eggs but if we don’t have room in our tiny fridge we just leave them out.
Are you both native Spanish speakers? Are there places to take intensive Spanish courses in your area for a month or longer that includes lodging? We would love to do something like that.
We’re both intermediate speakers, Kathleen a bit more advanced than me. I’m honestly not sure, there are definitely courses and private tutors.
What is the market hours?
Early until about 3ish I believe. We always go around noon.
Let me tell you what I got last weekend at the tianguis in Guanajuato: 4 kilos of bananas, 1 kg of oranges, 1 Kg of mangos, one pineapple and one cantaloupe, all for only $130 pesos. Here, a hair cut in some places in the neighborhood is only $50 pesos. As a reference, my last electric bill was $180 pesos for two months of service.
