Can you imagine what sort of a match it would have been if they ever had paired up Las against Catweazle?
21:04 to 21:20...watch the two 12, 13 yr old boys in the front row on the far left of the screen as they're watching Johnny headscissor Pat for the 4th time...I wonder what they're whispering to each other as they're seemingly enjoying Pat's humiliating headscissor predicament that Johnny has him in?...I can pretty much guess what their comments were just by their cocky grins, shaded whispers, and excited demeanor 🤫🤭
Dinamite kid VS Black Tiger 😮
Not like the US theatics
The good old days at the spa royal hall in Bridlington every Monday night
“South London hard man”…..
Les Kellett probably the hardest wrestler ever to grace the ring

Sarah Stock was great. It is too bad she performed in an era in which women wrestlers were not allowed to show what they can do in the ring for the big American companies. I was constantly frustrated by her TNA run in which they rarely gave her more than three or four minutes in the ring per match.
discovered les kellett after reading he was a pioneer of comedy in wrestling
Sharron is not a rule bender he is a GOLD PLATED CHEATING TWAT And thats from a Yorkshire man
Who?
We watchex this on a black and white tv,itwas anarchic, chaotic I never understood it,but the crowd seemed to be in on it,just felt so distant from it,there is a lot mre to this than meets the eye,It all nonsense but by saying this youre part of the plot, lighten up.
Kent always sounded so earnest and sincere, but was 'in on it'.
Finely tuned athletes
Who are these 2 chuds? Never heard of them. One looks like he wants to be Ric Flair but utterly fails and the other looks like he was freshly plucked off a local bar stool! 😂😂
I all the years I've known Gil. You can tell he's been some places and done some things
Great fun 🤩
I used to love watching Saturday afternoon wrestling and then I became a teenager and it all changed. And now I think about it, It was similar to the tooth fairy or Father Christmas. You woke up one day and just knew that it was all a pack of lies, nobody had to tell you, you just knew. That said, it was good whilst it lasted but a load of bollocks nonetheless. I remember watching the likes of Johnny Saint, Mick Mack Manners, Big Daddy, and the rest and could suddenly see the well-rehearsed choreography in all their moves. It still looked good, just no longer convincing. From that time till now, I have always wondered why anybody watches wrestling. Can't they see it as a fix? And I have even been told that many know and don't care. That really baffles me. I mean I can't imagine watching a boxing match, knowing it's a fix, and not giving an F..
Quercus ilax common all over good fire wood
Think only ric flair and maybe Dusty rhodes could match these great wrestlers wot its about value for money god bless em
Why did these wrestlers hardly ever get a bloody nose or a burst lip when someone like Nagasaki smashed them in the face?
Steve Logan looks a bit like Coronation Street's Jack Duckworth in his younger days.
That was such a vicious forearm smash from Mick. It was a true knockout blow.
Need someone to hit me with some of those.
I went to school with Bobby Barnes daughter ( Bobbie ) and are best friends with his son Steve 🙌🤙
Saw it first time round and I'm still laughing at it, the poor referee had to suffer as well and it was great fun from Carl aged 60 but was 11 years old at the time.
So much talent no wonders the sweat profusely ❤❤❤❤❤xxxx
Pure fun and entertainment 😂😂❤
This match was on the same bill after Haystacks and Wayne Bridges had broken one of the ring floor-boards which had then been replaced or repaired.
I can still hear my late mother laughing at 4 every Saturday watching the wrestling, oh these were magic days world of sport gave us so much entertainment, RIP Dickie
Whats great is that almost everyone is wearing "best" dress to watch the matches
Used to make Wednesdays and Saturdays television actually worth watching ❤❤❤ absolte rubbish now in 2024 February 😅❤😢😢
K..mmmmm,⁰0😊😊😊
Truly dynamite 💪
2 falls or 1 submission. 😅😅😂😂
Wow, you wouldn't want to stop that punch Les Kellet swung........
I would to see how these Irish hard men stood up yo REAL STREET FIGHTERS
Does anyone know if that is the fabulous Sherrie Hewson (Alma, Coronation Street) ringside?
9:09 "Just a little reminder from Naylor he still has control of that move" Proceeds to let Boscik pry his ankles apart and spread his legs 😅
To my knowledge, Rocco never ever won a bout clean. R.I.P. Rocco
Johnny "go for the ropes" England. Where's your muscles there Johnny?
11:37...is he touching his package..dirty tactics...love it.
My first introduction to British wrestling from days gone. I really like it. Funny and entertaining without making a mockery of the sport. I just love the patience everyone their has. Instant gratification is not always better.
Wrestling before steroids.
Great entertainment before big daddy ruined it
Johnny was an expert at headscissoring Pat. I counted 5 good headscissors by Johnny.
...had to feel great for Johnny with those powerful thighs, having a head between them and flexing his muscles as he was crushing it
...5:02...Patton using Johnny's meaty bulge as a pillow... I'm sure Johnny didn't mind one bit, feeling Patton squirming, shifting, and nestling his head into just the right position on his throbbin "trunks pillow"...Johnny, surely enjoying Patton "wrrrresssstling" his head around against John's trunks-clad "throbber", and for such a long, satisfying duration of time And that's just the first headscissor of the match that John gets to "enjoy"...England was such a great cocky bully of a man
