Make sure you ride the correct A train bc I was on the wrong one and a group of teens asked me if it goes to JFK and I said no this one goes to Far Rockaway... they got off the train and I realized they were on the right one and I was on the wrong one 😣 then I managed to get on the wrong one three more times!! Srsly why are there 2 A trains going the same way til the very end 😭

You don't understand. It's actually cheaper because there's no sprawl and parking everywhere. Cars are the ONLY problem with cities. According to first principles of urbanism, NYC must be the most fun, friendly, affordable, mobile, human-oriented, and eco-friendly place in North America. Something something induced demand.

If you didn't pass such crazy daycare regulations, daycare wouldn't be so expensive. Seriously, in most states, they limit the ratio to something like 1 provider for every 4 kids under 2. Take whatever you call a "living wage", divide it by 4, then tell me how a parent is supposed to afford that each year. Do they make the "living wage" in your head? That's 50% of their income if they have two kids, overhead not included. Soon, DC will be requiring 4 year degrees in early childhood education for providers. Wild.
