2020 Triumph Street Scrambler Oil Change
Just changed the oil with these instructions! Thank you!
@@georgeaye8905 That’s awesome. I’m glad it helped and thanks for the feedback.
I know it's been a year but, would still like to know where you purchased this access panel? Thanks!

thank you for sharing this useful video for all evora owners.
Watching this video just save me 250$ thank you
Thanks Mike. I have the same car and just completed the oil change yesterday. Do you know if you can reset the oil service interval at any time? It does not have to say servoce car right? I am ordering the icarsoft. I did the change with 5000 miles left according to the car. It was so easy. The dealer quoted over $600 for an oil change!
Hi. You can go in and reset the oil service interval at any time. The icarsoft will ask for the date you performed the oil change and it will push the next "oil" service interval out by 1 year or 10,000 miles. I do it at least 2x per year or every 5k miles so my light never comes on for oil.
@michaelsantino2023 ok sounds good. I had bought an innova brand but it did not work. I have the icarsoft coming tomorrow. Thanks again. The oil change was so easy. The off road mode with air suspension gives you just enough room to get under the car.
Thanks for the great video Mike. I love the access door too for easier servicing.
Thank you!
what's the parts list you used to do this?
Me and my rare 2021 blue 701 appreciate this video. Thank you.
Who else watched the entire video without having this beautiful bike? 😢
All this “hard” work costs $600 at the dealer lol
That was painful. You nearly butchered the whole movement! 😂😂
Gorgeous bike and excellent upgrades bruh… very inspiring🍻
Nice Job! I have a 2020 GT. Can you share the link to where you purchased the drain plug tool?

Thank you Sir!
Glad your using mobile 1
Great vid man thanks!
You missing the front LED highlights… can you tell us what’s the brand ? 😊
Could I have a link for the bobbins you used?
how much does a vespa sprint oil take? 1.34L ?
850ml
You made a mess.
Give you have the diy drain plug access door, you should install a stahlbus drain plug and REALLY make things simple and clean.
I keep going back and forth if I should keep the OEM or go with Stahlbus or Valvomax
@@michaelsantino2023 I ran the stahlbus on my 15 turbo and run it on my 2018 tt-rs and I love it. Won't NOT run it ever again.
that dual Mudguard kit is exactly what I want to do!! did it come with the high bracket??
Nicely done video, thanks, you made a simple procedure even simpler. Sound volume was pretty low - had to crank it up to 100% to just barely hear you.
excellent ;) just two notes. 1. - try to not use metal hook/bodkin for removal orings - use plastic or just remove with hand. 2. - lube the oring before installation on filter bowl and afte also.
Thanks for the feedback and the 2 tips. Will definitely start doing that on future oil changes. Appreciate it.
Thank you! It was very helpful
THANK YOU. EXCELLENT SUPURB video. 10-+/10!!! FAULTLESS. WELL done sir, WELL done.
actually, you overfilled it. I‘m planning to do the same procedure with my scooter and it‘s supposed to take 850ml! greetings from germany
How do I turn off the notification that says “oil change”? Thank you
Hi. I have an iCarsoft computer that I use to turn the service light off.
How do you keep that exhaust so clean?
Good job Thanks.
Big mistake! TOO MUCH ENGINE OIL. when you take the trouble to show others how to do an important maintenance like changing the oil, you have to know what you are doing otherwise you are giving bad advice which seriously risks damaging the engine! Amazing to fill the oil to the brim and start the engine without even checking if the level is adequate. I don't know of any vehicle that has an oil level filled to the brim! The seals may blow and the engine may suffer serious damage!
Does anyone know what size the oil drain plug is? I need a replacement for mine, but KTM parts websites states the size is M20 while others state M12
Its crazy how this is also how the oil is changed in my 1968 Austin Healey, i changed it once, and after drinking an ounce of oil i bought a spin on adapter to use spin-on filters 😂
Yes! I’ve seen those spin on adapters. I’ve thought about getting one, but figured since that spin on hose keeps it pretty neat, I’d just keep it OEM.
@michaelsantino2023 can you please provide link to the 2nd access panel with screws?
www.etrailer.com/RV_Access_Doors/JR_Products/37210-31015.html
Why the check engine light on with only 500miles??
The first oil change for a new Triumph is set to go off at 500 miles. Must have something to do with an initial break in period?
Needs moore oil😂😂
Looks amazing mate, good job done on that!!!
Great job brotha ! I appreciate the help !! 💪🏼
Michael, I found the link for the access panel on your oil change comments. Thanks again very nice videos you're a credit to all shade tree mechanics!
Michael, Great video! I want to do this project. You said you drilled a 4.5" hole. I have looked online for a 4.5" marine access panel but only seem to find 4" and 6". Where did you purchase you access panel from? Thank you!
Bike looks great, QQ. To mount the high front fender, is there a specific mounting bracket that needs to be added, I have the fender, but I see no way of mounting it
Wow. It’s been awhile since I mounted that fender, but from what I remember it was just using one of the existing screws from the stock fender and there was an existing hole already up top.
@@michaelsantino2023 I have just found that my 2018 is not compatible with that type of fender and will have to make a custom bracket for it. Really appreciate you getting back to me though. Thnx
Where did you get the foot pegs? they look great.
I got them right off Triumph’s website.
@@michaelsantino2023 thanks a bunch.👍
slicing is required? :/
Men.. men... what a miserable oil change you do at last u did to much oil in it ...😮 You need look the dipstick when u did 3/4 bottle oil in the scooter...
never touch the barratry or the movement with your fingers,,,it makes the movement and battery RUST.
how to overhaul a B1 so that digital and manual sync match 2gether?thx mine out of sync and though battery removed, bubbles showing at display .SOS
Brilliant idea! If only they still have a dipstick tube, you can use a fluid extractor, which they use for Audis. Then again, you have to differentiate a Porsche. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for posting. What is the brand and/or model of the funnel kit you used? Where can I purchase?

@@michaelsantino2023 🙏
I see one problem, the gaskets have not been replaced, the watch is no longer watertight.
Drain plug access door.... nice... but my guess is it gets a bit messy getting that t45 bolt (which faces straight down) off. 😉
Actually, not bad at all. Pretty neat and clean. Bought this tool on Amazon so my hands don't get dirty when removing the drain bolt. www.amazon.com/dp/B07RW9HL51/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07RW9HL51&pd_rd_w=tVlvb&content-id=amzn1.sym.386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_p=386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_r=VRYXXC1RH0WFVYQG8YKS&pd_rd_wg=A16sC&pd_rd_r=bff819a1-3b81-4093-81f1-3da2053bd019&s=automotive&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM
