Yay....a TOILET 🚻! 😊 Suggestion: Urin SMELLS in the heat! 🥵 If you put about a capful of eco-friendly Lavender-scented fabric softener from the dollar store to the jug after emptying it, it will smell nice. AND, it's more pleasant to empty (which I find GROSS). 😊

Do you have 3 M tinted window cover? If s😅meone tries to break a window the glass will not land all over & shattered inside. I just watched two videos with break-in’s and those covers saved them. Not to be a pessimist but “safety first”…

Wow. Amazing job !!! I am trying to decide if I want to sell my Ford E250 high top and down size to a minivan. I had a mini that was partially built out and I loved it. I switched to the high top because I wanted to be able to stand. I’m really torn. My build is not that great but it’s do able, I could easily make just a few changes that might make it a lot better. As I’m watching you do this build I’m getting great ideas. I may just stick with what I have. You’ve done a really great job on this. You should be really proud of yourself ❤ Best of luck to you, I’m in Phoenix for my home base so if you will be in the area feel free to reach out we could merge up for coffee or lunch. ❤ I did read a comment from someone who said they were 72 or 78 and crawling around was really difficult.

How do you 'have the other on lockdown'? I use a large plastic jar with a screw lid at night for pea, and have a 5 gallon bucket just in case for # 2 if I can't find a place to go at a store, reststop, etc. I am looking at the Trelino though.

You deserve an award for the amazing build and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in a mini van. You are a inspiration! I am getting close to making a huge decision/purchase of a fancy camper van, This really has me reconsidering because of the huge savings this approach makes. Toyota and Hondas are the most reliable vehicles for this category so excellent choice for the build. Thank you for sharing. You should consider doing consulting because there is a huge market for this area of van builds. 🔥💪👍. It has the most cozy mini house RV vibes I’ve ever seen in a mini van.❤

Im def putting a bucket in mine. I've got a car right now. I've thought about having a large construction bucket with a seal tight lid, and then I can just take it out at night and put it on the ground between the door and my car. Semi private.

I do it in extra large plastic glasses with a lid ...glasses are the kind for children's sodas...from Walmart. Have 4 of them handy for everyday use. After each time I've used it I put the glass in a plastic bag...and then empty it at the right places. I use 1 glass for each individual time. Never had a problem.

I certainly think you should have a toilet in your van. I would never throw out all the things you can wash! Never been with little kids? You do you but I only get one half of the situation.

I purchase a camper assembly toilet / and when I get a van and get my things organized I will have one cuz I will have to have a toilet I cannot be without a toilet I need a toilet 😊

I have a 2.5 gallon squatty car wash bucket w a regular soft close "fancy" toilet seat that lives in a milk crate (it wont tip over) w a metal canning funnel clipped to the bucket. It all disassembles for cleaning. I clean it at the car wash. I use horse pellets for the solids andI have a gamma lid bucket to store the "trash". Its all easy! If u r camping use biodegradable waste bags and dig a cat hole and bury it responsibly as u travel. ALWAYS put a lid on the urine container after each use. Water a tree w your urine. Dogs do. Squirrels do. Its good for the tree. It builds up condensation in a bucket w a lid...ick!!! Very simply ...all waste needs to be leak proof sealed after each use until you can dispose of responsibly. It took me two hours to fidget to make the set up. Fancy toilet seat w soft close lid $30. Bucket $8. Canning funnel $7. Lowes milk crate $17. Pitcher w lid $1.25. Scrap wood 2x2's. A few screws. One clip for the funnel. Cheap vodka in a spray bottle to sanitize. Not hard. If u do not have room for a small milk crate for a makeshift bathroom u need to dejunk some other stuff. Put a childs baby blanket over it. Its a stool, footrest when not in use. Its stunning to me why people make all this so complicated. I would NEVER a carry waste container into a store to flush it down a toilet. That is gross to me. Water the trees already. Just pour a little water in the urine container. No one watching will notice. They assume u r pouring out a stale water bottle. No hard, not gross. Very easy!!🤠

I’m in a Nissan NV200 and I have a collapsible toilet that I use for overnight. I also have a portable potty that I am thinking of using when I stay at rv parks. I have tried all kinds of different set ups so I can completely relate to your struggles. 😊

I bought an expensive composting toilet for my travel trailer and it was not really odor free. Long story short I threw it in the garbage 😢

I totally understand. I got a tiny cabin toilet was not ready so I used a pee jug for female and I almost turned it over countless times the thought of wasting was overwhelming..

I have an ongoing list for when I start my van build, and this is my number one choice. I hope you're happy with it. I am going to use pine pellets.
