Well, let me explain to you, in Islam, the ascension of Jesus into the heaven is not an event known or planned by his disciples. The incident takes place during the raid of the Romans. Allah does not let romans catch jesus. instead Jesus ascends to heaven. The image of one of those on the side of the Romans is turned into Jesus. The Romans catch him. According to Islam, he is the one who is crucified. Naturally, everyone thinks that Jesus is cruficiated and dead.
I don’t think Jesus actually said anything similar to this. As a catholic who converted to Judaism I highly doubt a practicing Jew would ever say something of the sort.
