    One small tip- when you unroll your carpet take a sharpie or a China marker and draw arrows every foot in the same direction on 12 inch centers all over the entire carpet. Make sure the carpet is all going the same direction when you carpet the deck and hatches, this ensures the pile is all going the same direction and keeps the carpet uniform. Otherwise you will see lighter sections due to pile going in all different directions.

    Ditch the crap carpet glue and use contact cement no clamps required. You can litterly carpet a whole boat in 2 days from start to finish. I've done this several times with my dad and uncle on their various bass boats over the years.

And I just watched the end of the video and it looks like u did get a few of them lids the wrong direction because u can see that some of them look lighter than others and that would be because the carpet wasn't installed all in the same direction. @@impulserecreationbuyer Tx! You will probably have to replace the carpet on the bunks of trailer. You will have a better idea once you launch the boat. It is an easy fix and make sure you inspect the boards and use stainless steel staples to fasten the carpet if it needs replacing.

    Looks great man! Best deal out there on graphs is at Bass Pro on the Garmin Echomap UHD series (699 for a 9" / 999 for a 10") . They have a UHD 2 now and they are blowing out the older model. Look on Garmin and the diff is minimal and mostly around improvements to the wifi network. Garmin uses a hard wire network also that uses standard ethernet cables no no crazy $50 cables. That Garmin also will run the Live Scope 2 for the next person and they will want that. Garmin, imo, offers the best over all package of value. Transducer on the trolling motor is a not big deal as far as cables. Lots of cable mgt solutions. People are going to put a transducer on the trolling motor. Those universals like in the Fortrex are 83/200 frequencies which is just traditional sonar. All the Live Scope/ActiveTarget type sonar which most want require a kinda big cable. Anything for Down Imaging (desired up front) will take a diff transducer. That transducer wire at the console is for a Lowrance. They have two diff connectors. That fits stuff like the older "Hook" series but probably works on the new Eagle series they have. They have bigger connectors on the higher end HDS stuff. Check grounds on the console light. It is a ground 50% of the time for electrical issues in a boat I bet.

  • @corbinwadlow2044

    Get a hold of Van over at BBT (Bass Boat Technologies) for your electronics mount at bow & console. You will need new wiring for your electronics. Put a new shoot through hull transducer in your bilge area. There may be an old one in there. Boats looking good. The trailer needs some TLC now. They make caps for your dash so if you take the clock out you can snap a cap in place.

      Do not install the battery charger. Mount it on a carpeted board and buy quick disconnect ports. This removes the weight and space out and can be carried in a bag if you travel. You have to spend enough to ensure unit compatibility with whichever you go. If you are going to flip it then don’t buy anything. Whomever buys it will do his own thing and will not pay for your vision.

    • @richardjohnson6695
      @richardjohnson6695 Před 21 dnem

      Buy a nice set of aluminum wheels and new tires and call it good. If you want to add value…Hydraulic jack plate, power poles. Universal tools that a tour buyer will want. Electronics need to match trolling motor so do not spend a dime on either unless you go all the way with compatibility and link.

    • @impulserecreationbuyer

      The seat base is pretty simple. The fuel cell hold down is what supports the plywood at the back of the boat in addition to the fuel cell itself and the front of the seat base is screwed into the gel coat front lip. Then seats sit on top of that carpet wrapped wood. Seats get screwed into the boat through the back. Centar part of the Cushions are removable via velcro.

  • @lovethedogsNC
    @lovethedogsNC Před 24 dny

    Yes 23 p is what that means. You can run it like that, they need to be pretty balanced so a bad ding is one blade is worse than small dings in all three. You will lose a little performance top end. Make sure the tach works and look up WOT for your motor. That is the only other consideration for the prop. If you spin it past WOT easily that is not good. That is a very good Yamaha, both the 150 and 175 are solid. I would almost think you would spin a 24p prop on that setup.
