The funny thing is that you can build a superior four-quadrant multiplier from half of a 2164 quad VCA, a couple of opamps, and a few resistors, if you know how. I have featured that multiplier circuit in my frequency shifter module (Freak Shift) and my new dual multiplier module (Delta Quadrant), which has voltage control over the quadrant, from -2 through 4 to +2. In fact, each module involves two such multipliers built from a single 2164 chip and a TL074 quad op-amp, at a total cost of about $4. There is absolutely no need to pay for an AD633 ever again.

They're in curve tracers aren't they. Tektronix bought them all haha. If I order below 120cad I pay almost 50 for shipping and brokerage from digikey so I wait till I have a large order haha. Beats rebranded Chinese crap though. I've been replacing all my components with brand name ones. I spent a fortune on test gear and wondered why half my circuits never behaved when I was learning haha. I'd have never bought a scope so soon either if I had my time over, it led to two, then 3, now 4 haha. I donate the old ones though. I am regretting not buying that Tektronix mdoXXXX second hand now because I'd have a spectrum analyzer for audio. I paid 600 to add the logic analyzer option to my ritol and I've yet to use it. I would've bought differential probes instead to avoiding harm to the front end. There was someone selling 6 active tek probes a few weeks ago for 450 and I'm kicking myself for not buying them for the ability to have hv probes and 4 500mhz x100 ones

Hello Noah. I have a Dremel Mototool 380 and the semiconductor for the speed control is defective. there is no number on the device. Would you happen to know what the device is i.e.SCR, Mosfet, etc? Dremel says they don't have any information on their old models.

Cutting up the original boxes is a very bad idea. I also cannot recommend stuffing cables like that at the bottom of the box. Get some plastic shelves and put your extra synths in them. Get some plastic tubs with lids and store your boxes in them. Wrap your cables up 2 over 1 under and hang them lightly on hooks. Just my 2 cents.

Please don't cut up the original boxes for your gear! Having the original box, manual and accessories will likely get you more money when its time to sell your gear. 😊

Honestly- dont know what the deal on ebay now is- with most all musical items ONLY being sold from Japan- screw that. Dont do ebay with musical items for that reason. Glad u didnt have any problems- many other people do.

(Encoder Part# "ED1614S-24T3-00C-F20" by Top Root, button mechanism: Part# "PB-11E01" by Wealth Metal) however much use that is to you now I would heartily advise you check out the new custom firmwares for the MD on the elektronauts forum, they have added new machines and overall bugfixes that are mindblowing considering the age of the machine

I got so fed up with the terrible engineering in my corded dremels when they overheat and blow their motor controls I has enough. I bought a vanhaus equivalent and it was one third the price and doesn't overheat and has lasted longer than 2 dremels so far. I sold my 3 faulty dremels eBay for more than I paid for the vonhaus!

Ok, what we know - motors - Arduino - project name is XSF - temperature controller - you jizz about an STM board (during NNN, no less) So I'm guessing it's an IoT adult toy, code named "X-treme Sex Fun"
