Oh my god man this commentary is so insightful! I will forever look at this song in a new way. I loved when he said the guitar is like a broken heart crying. Such an elegant observation. And then when the other guy compared some of the solo to a snake charmer. Such an interesting take! It's so true. It's tempting but forboding. I have always loved this solo. JP takes you up the side of a mountain and just when you feel like you're going to drop back down to earth, he takes you to the fuckin' moon.

Love how everyone is completely honest ❤ In America, people buy banana splits with Baskin Robbins. Put one scoop each of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate in a long dish next to each other. Cut a banana in half lengthwise and put a half on either side of the ice cream. Cover the ice cream eith some chocolate and strawberry sauce and top with whipped cream. Since BR has 31 flavors people will puck their 3 favorite flavors. Its a huge dish og ice but so good! (Sometimes people share them)..

It is said that music transcends generations. I would say it transcends cultures, emotions, and perspectives, just about every humans soul. Tongis performance allowed me to watch a completely different culture and understand that their emotions were shared, same as mine. We aren't taught this. We need to motivate ourselves to look deep and learn objectively rather than blindly accepting the explanations and lessons being taught. JMO

Can I offer a wonderful piece of music that inspires me every day… just to be clear I am not Jewish (nor Christian) I have read all of the books of the children of Abraham and the only one that presents the Word directly from God/Allah/Yaweh is the Quran but it would be disingenuous to claim any one faith. I came across this ‘reaction’ clip almost by accident, it’s a song I love but watching the reactions of these community leaders was an insight into how we all see the world in different ways. I felt heartbroken at the honest sharing of the father’s loss of his child, a pain we can all often relate to. And something I have personally experienced, a universal pain. I love that there’s no condemnation that the singer was Jewish, that the music and his message was universal. I would enjoy listening to a version sung in Arabic, Pashtun, Farsi and the myriad of tribal languages and dialects. The different interpretations of the words and the meanings behind his gestures was fascinating. I have to admit that the lack of emotional response was surprising but that highlights my lack of understanding of the tribal culture of tue people here who were willing at least to listen something that could be seen as confrontational, I admire that courage. Personally, as someone who comes from a different culture and has seen Mike in concert I would love to take these community leaders along to a liven performance, I have no interest in trying to change anyone’s values or perceptions, simply that being in a live audience can clarify what is not clear at first Glance. I look forward to more reviews from this channel, thank you.

This song by Eric Clapton still breaks my heart to this day. This was my father's favourite song, and he would try to practice singing and playing this song on his guitar. My father died almost 20 years ago, and every time I hear "Tears In Heaven," I think about him. And it makes it sadder to know that he is in heaven now and no longer with his family. But I know that he will know my name when I meet him in heaven someday.
