Isaro Watercolor Review & Painting. Favorite Colors, Pros & Cons, Pigments, Brand Overview.
Isaro watercolor review, my favorite colors, pros & cons. Fast paced informative narration by Robokim, my first TTS audio test! - supplies/links = show more -
TTS? Sound a little fast, robotic or monotone? Due to health problems, I am not currently voicing my videos. Instead I have trained a text to speech program to mimic my voice using the program called "Descript". If you're interested in how that works, you can see a CZcamsr test it out in his video "This Audio Editing Tool "Deep Faked" My Voice" at czcams.com/video/-7x3CbbR-ns/video.html
Let me know in the comments if you think the audio was too fast/hard to follow and perhaps needs those couple second pauses more frequently. (I had 3 second pauses spaced between every paragraph of text or so, but they could be between every sentence or two instead). Voices get glitchy when overall slowed, but I'll be working more with Descript's program options in the future in attempt to provide the most pleasant voice over experience.
Supplies I used or talked about in this video:
Isaro individual tubes: www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/isaro-watercolour-paint?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0

DaVinci at Blick USA has more affordable primary mixing basics: shrsl.com/2igwn
My favorite brands specifically for smooth control, color to color blending and gradient washes:
Sennelier: www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/sennelier-watercolour-us?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0

PAPER I mainly use Arches Cold Press you can find it on Jackson's UK - www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/arches-aquarelle-pads-us?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0
or Blick USA - shrsl.com/2twqj
A more affordable alternative = BaoHong academy cotton - www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/baohong-academy-pure-cotton-watercolour-paper-block-300gsm-20-sheets?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0

Neptune paint brushes are a soft synthetic vegan imitation squirrel which hold an amazing amount of water!
Brushes at Blick - shrsl.com/2tyw0
Jackson's - www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/search/?q=neptune%2Bbrush&___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0
Amazon - amzn.to/3mwldCY
Waterproof ink favorites - Black Tombow Mono disposable pens: amzn.to/3vB35gz
or Uni Pin pens on Jackson's: www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/uni-pin-sketching-pens-waterproof-black?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0
Colorful line drawings can be done with disposable Copic or Micron pens, but the most economical option long term is dip/calligraphy pen or refillable technical pen using bottled ink.
I most often use very fine line width 01 fineliners or 0.20 tip size technical pens.
R&K SketchInk is lightfast, waterproof and comes in many colors: www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/rohrer-klinger-sketchink-50ml?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0
White highlights: I use white gouache and a 3/0 princeton heritage round detail brush. I no longer recommend gel pens (blobs, skips, fixed line width). Any pro grade PW6 Titanium White gouache can be mixed with watercolor to tint your highlights.
M Graham has a lovely white gouache that does not crack in the dry pan as badly as other brands, but Schmincke Horadam's pro gouache is a close second with superb quality.
Schmincke Titanium White gouache on Jacksons (UK/worldwide) here: www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/schmincke-horadam-gouache-us?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=c0f168ce8900fa56e57789e2a2f2c9d0
or M Graham white gouache on Amazon US: amzn.to/3rIw8wi
or at Blick: shrsl.com/3ds5w
I use affiliate links. As an Amazon, Blick or Jackson's associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Thank you :)

I think this colour will be great for urban areas with buildings etc but also animals and desserts . I would like to use it for shadows also .. thank you for your video ..

  • @jjsmakeupobsession323

What did you use to stir the paint in the tube?

  • @arthuratsingingcove

Sorry, but uv glass, museum glass and other products are shown to block the vast majority of UV rays. Unfortunately there are other parts of the sunlight spectrum that ca be harmful, and it is expensive. I would not trust ready-made frames and craft store glass, but a reputable framer.

Moonglow is a nice color for effects, but I have made variations and developed my own version that can be adjusted to my needs. The separation of colors has a fine effect in itself. It all depends on what the person intends to accomplish.
