⁠​⁠​⁠@@cubedmack you don’t have to be a dealer. But search up what’s the limit on selling cars in your state without a license. Here in TN it’s 5. But if you partner up with a dealer. Theirs no limit. When you buy a salvage vehicle you’re responsible for turning it into rebuilt. So whatever title process you have in your state you have to follow their rules. Some states are difficult. And other like TN its easy. Like all I do is. File the salvage title to the county clerk, with 4 images of each quadrant of the car before/after , a money order, then all receipts used for repairs. Wait 1 week or 2. Then the rebuilt title arrives in the mail. So once the car is sold. No inspection is required on the customers end.

True you would have to be a dealer. I’m thankful to be partnered up with my dealer. It’s still possible! Here in TN the legal amount is 5 cars. Some states have higher limits.

@@olyaxe.s Yep, the legal amount you can sell is 5, but if you weren't working with a dealer, every one of them would have to be registered in your name before you could sell them. The government wants your money! LoL.

⁠@@NapkinEdSternexactly. They win one way or the other. Sales tax is required to be paid so the government gets paid when I buy the car and sell the car. All sorts of environmental fees, gate fees, and a bunch of other ones. Keep it into expense when doing your numbers. I tried at first the way your talking about,and then learned I can’t legally sell more then 5. The by bass would be title skipping but it’s not even possible to do so with Copart or IAA. A name is required when shopping thru copart and IAA, for the title. That’s only possibly if you’re shopping thru Facebook marketplace. Or a buddy you know that’s selling a car that you’re wanting to flip.

Some states like Colorado allow you to do a title only without registering it. The title fee is like $15.

All my cars are Salvage title. Here in TN the rebuilt title process is super easy. Some states are a little more complicated. Build a good relationship with a dealer to use their license. Yes. They will charge you a broker fee, to bid. Or some charge a commission once you sell the car. Figure out the deal with whoever you go. I recommend going in person. For a more upfront approach. So it won’t sound like a scam call. I have never used copart brokers or any third party. But it should all be similar. Just make sure your broker is taking care of dispatching the car to you. From whatever state you win the car in. Going with an online broker, could limit you on how much you sell in a year, depending what state your in. Look up how many you can sell in a year at your state. Then you’ll know if it’s worth going to an online broker. That’s why I recommend going with a dealer and build a relationship with them, so you’ll be able to scale up. And not limited by the amount your state allows.

@@olyaxe.s OK great. 30 years ago I bought a Chritstmas tree from a Mom and Pop tiny dealer, we became friends and I used his license for 25 years doing it part time. Today a private person can only sell 3 cars in Florida. Was only going to the major dealer auctions like Manheim, like to explore them today to see if there are any deals there. I like the fact that most are GREEN LIGHT and clean titles I was chasing down a company that does salvage inspections and told her my story and she said come on over, we can hook you up with any number of small dealers so I can buy anywhere ! THAT MADE MY DAY ! She and I laughed about the car buying/selling thing, she said it's like a drug addiction, gotta do it and stay in it ! She is right, it's so much fun and you can make $$ too. Always on the hunt for the NEXT car NOW I don't need a ripoff broker. ONLY questions I have is if I use MY $$ to buy cars and give him the can to sell, I am worried about not getting paid ! Florida is a shit state for just about everything, people are leaving for GA, ALA and SC to get out of town and I don't blame them. I am from the Tampa Bay area but been in Brasil now 5 years. Headed back to do my thing there next year. I see WE HUSTLE DAILY - RAY, going to a lot of TOW YARD auctions, sure seems like some crazy deals there too ! Have you tried that ?

not going to lie. it took me 2 years and 8 months to get to this level. i really started making real profits not that long ago. finally cracked the code. i say it can be done in 6 months tho. if you have the knowledge and the experience then it should be a breeze. i started not knowing how to change a tire. and im dead serious. Its easy once you know. Just dont get emotional with the cars. play your number from beginning to end. never overbid

Thanks bro 🙏🏼 I recommend it. It’s a safe way to flip cars in my opinion. Dealers tend to clear codes or sell their trash inventory to those type of auctions. I will say copart also has dealer owned vehicles. So beware ! Confirm it’s an insurance car with bidcar.com , autovhr.com (to check carfax), or sometimes copart themselves on the notes say it’s from GEICO, State Farm , etc. because you could be buying from a dealer who suspiciously sells it of to the auction when they could’ve made money from it. Just a risk not worth taking especially if you’re putting thousands into the car. Also copart has vehicles that are sold from the public. For example, if we wreck out personal cars, but we in this case didn’t have insurance. Front end is messed up, but then we think “oh wait let’s just put on a front bumper and sell it to the auction so we can get money out of it “ then whoever is bidding on copart has the idea that the car is fine then once they get it. They’re gonna see how badly scammed they were. That’s an extreme example but it has happened to countless. So ALWAYS get an insurance car with copart. When it comes to these smaller entry cars Also. They’re salvage title vehicles. You would have to file to turn them into a Rebuilt title. Best of lucks bro 💪🏼 find you a broker near you. I recommend going to a dealer.

Yes you can! Make sure you cover up the breaks with some paper. Or even maybe like a grocery bag, just make sure it’s not touching the wheel so when you go and pull off the grocery bag or paper, it won’t pull off the paint.

It’s been forever ago since I made this video, but I believe it took a few hours. I’ve been editing for a while now so a lot of the edits come fluent.

Rebuilt titles are awesome in my opinion. Each state is different. But here in Tennessee all that is required is receipts to parts used during rebuild process and provide a before and after images. As far what does get totaled or not. That’s on you to check if it’s actually an insurance car. You can check with carfax, bidcar.com, or sometimes copart says. It’s super common, these copart cars aren’t actually insurance cars. Theirs many ways to check. Usually if the car turned salvaged and you can’t see what’s damaged. It could be more risky. GO FOR OBVIOUS CARS. if you see the fender bent. Then assume maybe suspension, maybe frame needs to be pulled a lil , and a new fender. It’s super simple. My mentors hit 30-60k months doing this. Don’t sleep on it. I highly recommend, and hope you the best 🙏🏼

best of luck if you do! its rough starting up. i do recommend building a good relationship with a local Broker. to bid on Copart or iAA . thats the most scalable way to flip cars. but theirs multiple websites you can go on for brokers. Even copart offers their set of brokers. but i would do some digging on which broker you want to use .

thats messed up. usually you can tell if the mileage has been tampered with if you check the carfax and it saids like 70k mikes back in 2020 but then 2024 it goes to 50k miles Big Red flag. people here do it too. never bought one that had the issue. but to be honest good for th seller because he made however much more , but that is messed up.
