I just bought a bootleg replacement ink cartridge and the instructions said to remove the sealing tape. I searched and searched and couldn't find it. Then I watched your video and realized - my bootleg cartridge doesn't have sealing tape lol. At least it's working.

would you please load an LD brand on the same printer and show us how to troubleshoot it and override the messages?

Epson XP-4100. I had LD cartridges that were delegitimized by a firmware update. I got a refund. I just received Oinkwere cartridges. They're fine. I've turned off the updater.

Too late, I already accepted the update and I am locked out for printing using compatible cartridges. So I had to buy the expensive Epson brand. They feel so light like there is hardly anything in them. 😡

Do I need the HP original 134X with chip to install or just buy any cartridge compatible to install?

Should all the cartridges be full for it to work or can it only work with black too?

I have a question, I have an HP 8702 printer, the cartridges are exhausted and I only have the black one, but the printer does not print with only the black one. Should I have them all full or is it that the black cartridge is not working?

Black ink is coming out but not printing anything. While colour printer prints dull .

You can swipe down from top of screen and click the water drop icon as that’s how you can see the estimated ink levels

I've loaded several cartridges in mine, I know how. Yesterday, I removed the old one, but the new one won't go in. Then I tried to reload the old cartridge and IT wouldn't go back in. There seems to be something blocking the installation. Help? (HP support doesn't recognize its own serial and product numbers so I can't get past the bots.)

Not happening

Don't know how/why this worked for me, but here's what I did when I just couldn't get the lid to open to change the ink. When I tried, the yellow light in the corner came on and the printer made a 'warning' chime. I tired all the things HP support suggested like unplugging everything and re-starting the printer. Nothing worked! In frustration, I finally just opened the paper tray and then I was able to open the lid, (did this when the printer was on). Again, not sure if it will help anyone else, but I thought I'd mention it.

Great video! The printer was not used for about 2 yrs and black ink dried out. The tips did not work initially so I tried tip 2 again with warmer water and longer dip time, and boom! Ink gushed out a bit while dipped and that's the time I know it worked. Thank you! This saved me big time.

Finally got a hold of the rep. at customer service, for LD products. Now this retarded company says they need to bring my ink in from another warehouse. After I've been waiting 2 weeks since May 02. This company is trash, the help on the customer service line is rude trash, also.

2 weeks, and bro can't even ship out an order. I will never order from these imbeciles again. They don't even answer their customer service line. I've been trying to contact these douche bags all day.

Thank you - I didn't realize that the nozzle check was missing the black and white part of the page. Took about 4 cleanings. I just bought the cartriges so I guess they really needed cleaning. THANKS. I was about to throw it away!!!!!
