2020 xtrainer My signals work correctly with my switch, however, my dash (left/right) indicator arrows are reversed? When I turn R, my left green arrow flashes on my cluster, and the right green arrow blinks when turning L.
Question, it looks like there is a 3rd wire which looks like a ground, do I need to move that over to your switch? If not what should I do with the extra wire. 2024 KTM 300 XC-W.
@@andrewhaines5701 there are only two wires. One brown and one black. Plug it in and you are good to go.

And the posi-tap punctures the sheathing on the red headlight wire to make a connection?
@@daoudik correct. Also it is a running light wire not main headlight.
I have the same bike. Also with 40h. Did you test the rk head. What jetting do you use with the higher compression?

No, Acerbis is really good if you take care of it. I use a magic eraser to clean the wear parts on the tank from riding

@@liamfinnegan8085 we don’t use that anymore. We use a positap now and it’s much easier for pulling suspension.

Hello, any idea what the stator output is on a 2024 Ktm 300XC? I have a couple BD squadron XL pros that run at 41.4 watts each. I had this setup on my Crf450X and I’m wondering if I can still use both or at least one of these lights on my new 24 300XC. Thanks!
@@georgeradysh8096 no you will not be able to use even one with the stock stator. Usable output is 28 watts. You can get Ricky stator to do a rewind and get around 70w to play with. Then you can run one of the XL Pros.

You got a good video.however, this guy is a joke. I dealt with him for over two weeks now he lost my order, then promised to sent my item ,never did, finally show up, no instructions no torque info, when i called him he was rude, finally he sent me text message saying im too stupid to figure out how it goes I’m about to go on a trip and nothing works I will never work with this guy again

No torque info with your hand guard order? The CO Attorney General is going to be all over this 😆 Occasionally I think I should start a moto product company as a side gig but then I’m reminded of the bell curve of human intelligence. Joking aside and with all sincerity: If you can’t figure out HDB hand guards you shouldn’t be working on motorcycles or even riding them.

what about the kill switch ?
We use the MotoMinded start/stop switch on the older gen ktm/husky/GasGas bikes. If you don’t want that then I’d suggest the Euro or CEV.

I don’t use anti seize on any of these. I lock tite the subframe bolts. Blue medium strength.

I will. Honestly very little difference though.
I have an aftermarket headlight with hi low and drl. The harness on the light has a spare blue wire. I’m curious if that needs constant power supply for drl? Also working with 2024 wr. Also hi beam lo beam not differentiating.
Going to this install. What size tap handle should I use for the 5/8-11. I am only going to do this once, not hundreds of times. I have heard you can use an 11pt socket, but seems a little sketchy.
Go to harbor freight and buy one that fits the tap. Cheapest option for a one time use if you don’t want to do the 11 point socket trick. It does work though.

The elbow on mine does not fit flush. It looks like you have a black spacer between the elbow and the tank. Was that on your original part or did Acerbis send that? Oh and also, it looks like you used the provided screws to attach the fuel pump/electrical on the proximal end. I tried to just use my original bolts, but they won't go in. Should I use the screws? I'm hesitant to use the screws. Will definitely tear into the plastic.
You cannot use an oem elbow if it’s an exc. The tank on the street legal bikes is thicker. Need to get a new elbow or use the Acerbis provided one. What bike is it on?
