The one that effected me the most was probably the fluttershy one w the shed n shit. I watched it back when I was big into mlp n I was in like elementary school. I went like a whole summer barely being able to sleep because of it. One night I had come back from vacation bible school n I really was terrified to go to bed so I hid from my parents to the point where they literally could not find me n almost called the cops. I didn’t know how to tell them what it was from cause I thought they would just think it’s an unreasonable fear, but time not telling them led to my mom thinking it was because one of my friends at the time but yeah, that effected me for years. I told my friend about it n he was just like “wanna watch it” n I said no because even if I am older now, that shit traumatised me as a kid 😭😭

Ok, when I first saw “incredigate”, I got a bit confused. There’s this game called Incredibox. It’s a music game, has a big mod community, yada yada yada. Things around it, which includes mod series or memes, usually include “Incredi-“ at the beginning as it’s related to Incredibox. So when I saw this, I got really confused. It completely slipped my mind the Incredibles was a thing, somehow! I guess that means “incredible” has been used in more than one name for something, now. I hope it doesn’t cause too much confusion.

i dont remember what its called but i do remember stumbling across a series including the queen and i think luna(?) that was mostly just comic panels not colored, but voiced by some fans (female) and it was super sexualized but all of it was only implied and played for laughs, like the queen is some borderline pedo sexual deviant and constantly horny and the other one (again, i think her names luna) is just so over it but at the same time oblivious and it was actually funny... but in an adult swim style of humor. i liked it... but i was definitely too young for it... i think at least. it was princess molestia... and i thought it was hilarious.

glad i never got into these contents as kid before and now as an adult i feel bad for the young who just got into these type of contents (and.. ofc also the parents..)

as a child who grew up with all that bronie stuff...it would always be somewhere there in the back of my mind. i forgot evantually about the trauma the bronie fandom has given me, but i started to feel nostalgic in some videos i saw on tik tok. and seeing them made me realize how i ended up as this person. and it makes me feel really sad sometimes, because i feel shame about it. but as someone who enjoys creating art and characters (wich is a way to cope with other things i've also expirienced) so i made a character that grew up with my little pony. but he is one of the healthy type of bronies who just enjoys the show and loves the morals and stories each episode has to tell. for me that is a way to face my trauma and still remember the good and fun things of my little pony. it's also so sad that so many children got exposed to heavy aldut content that was put in the show. the bronie fandom should've been more responsible, and rational and put all of that NSFW content somewhere else were no children should find it. im honestly so sorry if you also expirienced the horror some insecure and lonely people in the fandom have put onto you. i hope you have found also a way to cope. and i really hope some people who were and are responible for making this horrific content feel bad about it.

Skibidi Toilet Syndrome i think is just kids pretending to be what they watch. Do you remember when you were a little kid, you watched a show then you played in the backyard pretending to be your favourite characters this is just that but with the new generations . Also skibidi toilet at least has a story.

I don’t remember but the thing is that when I was at the pandemic I had an iPad and my parents set me a time of 30 minutes and after my time is up, I would usually watch tv or stay with family instead what the gen alpha kids are doing

this is so comforting because this has been on my mind for so long now, growing up and being like 7yrs-9yrs old and seeing large amounts of weird nsfw with absolutely no restrictions from youtube definitely changed how my brain functioned (at least a little bit for sure). it's sad to hear everyone's experiences but it is nice to know i'm not the only one who dealt with that stuff at such a young age. i don't believe there's anything wrong with adults enjoying content marketed to children, that media can be super cute and it's fun to just enjoy and own cute things, but completely taking over spaces with nsfw gory or sexual content for media marketed towards kids is just so weird. if you do that stuff do it in designated spaces, not somewhere (like youtube) that's easily accessible to children. yes there's and issue of children with unrestricted internet access but in reality these spaces should of never been taken over by disturbing content in the first place.
