My lance is on it's last legs so it was nice to see a comparison between similarly priced options. Pity the Autoglym came out 3rd as it's currently on offer at Halfords UK and it was the one I was going to opt for. I still might as I'm sure it will suit my needs, but thanks for the reviews anyway 👍👍👍.

little tip . pre mixed up 5 litres of snow foam and you can use and pour back the un-used liquid, not waste any.

If you want to save product you can have a 1:5 ratio by mixing approximately 83.33ml of Autoglym with approximately 416.67ml of water.

I’m in the Uk. Loved this back in the very early 1990s. I ordered a replacement tub of Zymöl in the uk and received swizzle. Emailed zymol HQ to say I didn’t think it was so good and didn’t like the new name. and Chuck called me on the phone to enquire and told me it was fake.

I used this with the Karcher k2. Followed instructions as far as I know. Yet even after their 3 treatments, when the car had dried it would still be dirty underneath. I don’t know if it’s the k2 that doesn’t have enough power or what. But either way I’ve gone back to elbow grease with a sponge. Faffing around with all of that and power leads and hoses getting tangled all for nothing. Total waste of money imo.

the first side you did out of the sun from the angle, of... watching the video. The other side with the other wax was in the sun. This would effect the "silkiness" that your described.

Hi - this is the best advice i've seen on CZcams. Can i ask: what pads for spreading then working wax? So after i have corrected and want to put a wax on? I'm struggling to see that.

You'd be lucky to be able to brush your teeth let alone detail a car with your technique mate.

I keep returning to this video to show people how to clean their foam lance. This should be in every detailing article for how well it’s covered. Great job! Pretty much the main maintenance step that I swear by is rinsing the bottle and running water after your done. Helps product not gum up the orifices and metal gauze. And of course O-Rings as well. Especially if these are used heavily and are stored in areas of high heat like California sheds.

On my Auto Glym, the cap keeps coming off when I attache it to my Karcher K7. Any ideas as to why? I cannot see any visible damage to the thread in the cap/neck tried everything to no avail!

So the best foaming lance came last? I can imagine someone saying to me mine does all this, will even cook your breakfast, but is shit for purpose. FOAMING.

Next time : spray Fallout 7 in the barrel and on the face, allow to work, followed by the wheel cleaner on tire etc. Works better.

Auto Glyn also states on user manual on Seal "don't use directly on windshield" as you will get an undesired effect 😏

I am from Canada and picked up Autoglym from Canadian tire. Over the years my go to polish wax and clay bar kit have all been from this line. Great product. Underated over here. It’s a must for anyone wanted to take there car up the next level for car care.

Your answer to - Is it worth buying, No, if you're already into detailing or Yes, if you have no experience in detailing and just want a clean car. In which case you're saying not for yourself.. Having used the products I would say If you're looking for a quick way and cheap way to clean the car then great this is because you get some paint protection, but the bucket and washing solution will be cheaper with no paint protection. The take away from this is, no good car cleaning is done quickly, put research and effort in and you will get better results and a longer paint protection period.

So I thought that you don’t use the power wash to get rid of the dirt first. As this could cause the grit to scratch the bodywork. Was told to put foam on first to listen the dirt then wash off 🤔
