Re color: It looks fabulous with other staged pieces. You may not get everybody liking it. But those who do, will be passionate about it. I love the semi-gloss. I like reds and oranges. Especially pared with blues like you staged. My favorite: Chinese Red.

I love it but I'm kinda partial. My mom refinished her long dresser in the early 70's and painted it burnt orange. Since she passed, it's been in my dining room as a sideboard, housing all of my linens and it's one of my absolute favorite pieces of furniture. In a sea of greige and black, it's nice to see some color.
