Hi, great video thanks! I study English Language and Literature and I really enjoyed your reading. Just one heads-up: I think you said "To Sleep" has the Petrarchan sonnet rhyme scheme but it actually has a Shakespearean sonnet rhyme scheme.

Working on a research paper thanks
I'm finishing an online English BA as a middle-aged man with attention deficit, and I can't say I enjoyed the process very much. My greatest struggle has always been wondering what the big deal is, and where I should keep my focus when reading given materials. Maybe because I am older, I will read an article and not feel like I took away anything new, other than terms to define an idea that I had given thought to be never knew they had a name. Like an orphan, I am trying to figure out what the benefit is to much of what they want me to absorb, and what consequences come to a community that does not observe these ideas. Otherwise, it may as well be gobbledygook, and I only belong to a sliver of society that happens to know something that the rest live just fine without knowing. I'm really facing a wall in gender studies with this, as the terms used are brand new to me, but the ideas were always around long before I was born. A lot of the time in education, we are informed about the hows and whats in terms of skill building and assessing information, but I was always curious about the why aspect of what we were being taught. Many times, the answer might exist in that the board insists on certain things being covered in the curriculum and the teacher would follow that. However, I would have appreciated what I was taught a lot more if I heard from the person who knew so much why exactly the material was being taught. If might help me to relate and take an interest (whether I share the teacher's views or not), rather than just try to plough through to the end. The why questions on topic matter explore why you do or why people should do something. Enjoying literature (specific titles, perhaps), using concise terms more frequently, and the such to help someone to not just be a better student, but a better citizen overall. Interesting enough to me that you're writing a book, and I would like to know what motivated you to do that. PS: If you're interested in any help with creative graphics for your works, give me a ding. No strings, I value what you do for people.
The enthusiasm in your voice makes this actually engaging, thanks
@Emlaladeo Thank you!
Very interesting and very helpful
Thank you!
Can I ask smth? what's the difference between an outline and discussion? 😅
@jana6666l I'm not sure what you mean by discussion. In an online course, a discussion could be a post you make in a forum. An outline would be an organized list of what you plan to write for something like an essay.

I’m struggling with writing a 5 page essay and outline and the draft 😢
You are an amazing teacher!! Thank you!!!
To be honest, this doesn't look so much different from writing a thesis. All the steps you mentioned are implicitly included in an Expose structure, so I don't get much the difference between them. However, thank you so much for your sufficient and clear explanation.
Thank you, very clear 😊
