THANK YOU for sharing Lena.
Hi Lena, did you get any permanent benefits from the MDMA therapy?
Nope. Not at all unfortunately. Iboga is next.
@@FetaCheeseLena yep I heard it doesn’t work for everyone which is why I’m wary of paying the huge amounts they charge for mdma and ketamine therapy. I will probably some cheap on the darknet and do a solo session to see how I feel. Mushrooms, San Pedro, Ayhuasca and lsd did not help me either and microdosing made me feel worse.
@@wulfsorenson8859 Check out iboga, they say it often helps when no other thing does. I've tried nearly everything too. If you want to chat, find me with the same name on Skype.
@@FetaCheeseLena I’ve tried microdosing Iboga but felt worse. But am planning to do a full 3 day ceremony when the people I know start holding them again. Be warned though - I’ve read some accounts on Reddit if people feeling significantly worse with anxiety and depression after Iboga! If Iboga fails the only option is to go back on Paxil or an MAOI which I’m loathe to do because of the nasty side effects like weight gain, insomnia and facial bloating 🙄
@@wulfsorenson8859 That happened to me, but then I ordered from a different place and the iboga was way different and didn't make me worse. I think there a lot of bad iboga out there...
nice
Someone recommend me IFS therapy, somatic experiencing and cranisosacral therapy did you try it for you ? For me is also horrible to read about PTSD and bode keeps the score. Did you heard about peter Levine and Irene Lyon ?
Ah! To your, “Is that going to change anything?” the therapeutic relationship - according to study, that is - is said to be thee most pivotal factor in any given therapeutic setting. Irrelevant of technique utilized, it’s apparently the level depth & trust a relationship has that marks the start of true healing and developmental growth. Without it, there’s only so far you can go. But the relationship, which is center to all of how we relate with the world (ourselves included), is bound to be the transformational torque from which we can grow and translate it outward in other forms of relationship. Anyway, just my own food for thought . :) hope the journey’s unraveling in a way that’s still helpful and meaningful for you.
Seriously looking forward to hearing more about your pursuits and treatment(s) with MDMA. This is seriously amazing to hear.. so hope-evoking.
Oh. Yeah, I gave it a good go, but basically it didn't work for me. I have heard from others, maybe with less intense issues, that it helped them, but for me I had to be off meds, and I could only tolerate that for a brief time as I can't really work when I am off of meds. And I need to pay bills, etc. But basically, it didn't work for me. :-(
Yeah, that must’ve been hard when there was a tug and pull between the functioning with meds and giving light-dosage go’s with the MDMA while off medication. I hope your journey’s otherwise still soaked with things that are working for you right now.. how has that been going if I may?
Cobie Langham Oh it wasn’t a light dose. Lol. Things are okay. I have a new therapist which I think is the best one I’ve had yet so I’m holding out some hope...
Do you have OCD? I ask because you said you had suicidal thoughts, but you won't act on them and that they are terrifying. I'm going through the same thing and I've been looking to try neurofeedback or tms. I don't want to act but don't want to continuously think about them either.
Nay P. I wouldn’t say I have OCD but I do obsess about things at times.
Awesome work. I recently learned about this MDMA assisted therapy in podcasts and it made me optimistic to get real life changing results. I have been in therapy for over two decades and I’m so tired of all the bullshit already. I’m going try this shit and hopefully I can finally see my real shit come up and work it out.
Thank you for sharing. I hope you continue to heal :)
Please don’t think I’m being judgmental... I’m curious. I will be starting neurofeedback this week and I’ve been told a couple of things about making it successful #1 . You should do this at least 3 times a week ( once it was explained to me I understood why) and 2. You shouldn’t be taking any medications ( I think anti depressants are allowed) / I watched your other (video after 4 visits) and it sounded like the place you went to didn’t explain anything at all to you which is a shame / I also wonder if they told you not to take any drugs - you also mentioned in a past video that you took MDA. Both videos were from a year ago - were you taking drugs while getting neurofeedback? I really am just curious. I don’t think I’ve ever had problems with depression- I’m more the type to have problems with anxiety and PTSD. I really do wish you well!
Penelope Branson I’ve done probably 80 sessions in total. Honestly unsure if it’s helped. Maybe a tiny little bit. It is possible people on meds just don’t do well. I was told that but I thought coming off meds would fix that but I am now reading research on what meds do to your brain and I believe it takes a long time for your brain to go back to normal. Read: Anatomy of an Epidemic by Robert Whitaker to read the details.
Have you seen Richard Grannon's videos? I find them helpful.
I can relate to the confusion with emotional abuse. When the next day they act like nothing happened, it breaks your reality. I lost all trust in myself.
Hi Lena, I suffer from severe, severe anxiety disorder. It all started with my first panic attack back in March 2014, which forever changed my life after that. I started going down a really deep rabbit hole of despair, irrational fears. The whole thing has left me with PTSD, severe generalized anxiety, and an eating phobia that forces me to mostly drink my food. It's been such a tragic experience, but I'm fighting. I want to try MDMA to help me get over my anxiety, trauma, and eating phobia. I need help trying to find this MDMA.
Brigham Yen I feel your pain and wish you luck. It hasn’t been a quick fix for me and I am still struggling. I will try again maybe in the spring with longer sessions. Good luck.
@@FetaCheeseLena quick question: for the issues you confronted during your mdma session, have those feelings abated? My question is, is the issues you're still experiencing stuff you didn't really confront while under mdma, or the mdma didn't really work.
Brigham Yen It was only one memory that I worked on and while it felt powerful to express what needed to be expressed (for the first time) all my ptsd symptoms are still the same so I still feel the same frustration. I am going to do a long session though - like 4-5 hours and see if that takes me further.
I had the same feelings the first time I saw videos on trauma and traumatism.. (Cyrinne Ben Mamou on youtube but it's in french) . take care <3

I'm glad you took the energy to spread awareness about the goodness of MDMA psychotherapy. This will be a very essential tool for many mental health disorders in the future. Peace.
do you ever experience derealization symptoms or depersonalisation symptoms? worth looking them up if you haven't heard of them. also please do another video on PTSD because your so good at describing things and are reassuring to listen to x
please do more videos like these they are really helpful. x
mdma does have a comedown effect. x
Good explanation in this video about mental health. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for sharing your experience Lena. It's really helpful to those of us who need this but can't find much information for obvious reasons. How long was the session? I've read that sessions are usually 6 + hours.
A B Well you can do it anyway you want. I didn’t tell me therapist so it just a normal session, so like 1.5hrs.
Feta Cheese Lena Do you feel you would've benefited more with a longer session? From what I've researched you would need a much longer session. I wonder if a therapist would suspect you're taking MDMA if you ask for a 6 hour session lol
At $200/hr it's not feasible to do 6 hours. I'm not rich, yo. But I did ask for a 2 hour session, and he now knows what I am doing. Next time 2 hours is the plan, but that's still $400 to dish out in one day.
I don't know if you've seen the Vimeo video (search for PTSD and MDMA), but he did three 3hr sessions and said his PTSD was cured.
Feta Cheese Lena I hear you lol. My sister is pretty much suicidal so whatever it takes. Thank you so much for all these updates by the way!
I've read that 5-HTP helps with the come down. Did you take any supplements or any kind of meds? I could be wrong but I think I've read that Xanax also helps for the recovery.
I've tried soo much for anxiety/ depression (neuroptimal too). Just tried acupuncture and my chest pain, feelings of dread etc were really lessened. May want to look into. Best of luck.
omg you are so likeable. i too want an update. try using magnesium. it helped me immensely.
Hey, thanks for sharing and putting this out there. How are you now? Still doing neurofeedback? Still helping? Let us know!
I will make an update video soon.
How do you feel now? I am contemplating getting neurofeedback for my depression
