Reviving an Old Project of Mine: Yerf Dog 3203
In today's video I pull an old project of mine from before the days of YKW, a Yerf Dog 3203 go kart from the late 90s abandoned in 2020. This is the last abandoned project I have left lying around, and it's time to send it on it's way to a new owner.

Trailmaster MB200 long ride.

I've done so much work to this minibike, from swapping in the Tillotson 212, to several hundred feet of wiring, its been quite the undertaking. but it's time to finally start enjoying the mostly-finished product.
Trailmaster MB200 Rear Suspension Upgrade
zhlédnutí 34Před měsícem
A real problem with the MB200 minibike is the terrible rear suspension, riders over 150lbs will have a rough ride on bumpy trails. Given that's about 90% of trails in my area, it was getting pretty old to say the least. I finally got around to installing some better springs to help soften up the ride, and boy did it make a difference. After installing the Mikuni VM22, this thing makes around 13...
Honda EM650 generator sitting for 21 YEARS, will it run?

I have a rather interesting piece of equipment for you all today, this is a Honda EM650 from the late 80s, this generator spent it's whole life powering a sailboat on the west coast up until about 2003 when the sailboat was dry docked up until now when it was finally scrapped for parts, this generator was found inside and looked to be in good shape, so it was given to my up-north neighbor, who ...

Hello all, today's very long video is 5 days of work on my transmission compiled into one video. This is the start of turning this car into an 11 second speed machine. Back in the late 90s to late 00s, the Grand Prix GTP was a formidable sports sedan, powered by the supercharged Buick 3800 V6 pushing 260 HP and 280 FT LB of torque, it caught many street racers off guard, it was common practice ...

In todays video I pull this 2001 Polaris Trailboss out of its 4 year grave, and get it running and sold to make room for future projects. I bought it in 2019, rode it for 2 years, and quickly outgrew it; the 325cc 4-stroke engine is severely under powered and slow for its size, at least by modern standards. Due to typical Michigan bipolar weather, this video was done over the course of a few we...

    In every used vehicle i buy i just replace those brake rubber lines. These are very cheap and very easy to change and it doesn't worth risking a brake failure with such a cheap and easy part to change

  • @georgestweeter
    @georgestweeter Před 20 dny

    Generally, whenever I'm compressing a brake caliper during a brake job if it compresses really hard, I'll crack the bleed screw and then work on compressing it again. If it's still super hard, then i know there's an issue in the caliper, if it then moves easily i know there is a restriction in that rubber line.

  • @bigjohn5104
    @bigjohn5104 Před 20 dny

    Ive never replaced a line. I also changed my brake fluid when it starts getting dark. The fluid attracts moisture and gets dark. Keep the moisture out just replace pads and rotors. Ive never done a caliper either for thst matter. Im talking from 96 with 300 some odd thousand to 2013 fords.

  • @jakelong1999
    @jakelong1999 Před 21 dnem

    It wasn't the rubber line itself. It was the clamp that wraps around the rubber line, it corrodes and squeezes the hose.

    • @georgestweeter
      @georgestweeter Před 20 dny

      Sometimes, but the inside of the lines will degrade and cause this over time.

    • @YaKnowWhatOfficial

      While this is definitely a possibility, it's not always the cause, the fittings were actually in pretty good shape.

    • @jakelong1999
      @jakelong1999 Před 20 dny

      I'm not talking about the fitting, I'm talking about the inch long steel bracket that wraps around the hose and bolts to the knuckle. It takes almost no rust to restrict them. Been at a shop for years and the only hoses I've known to collapse really commonly are ford escapes, although I've seen it few and far between on other makes. @@YaKnowWhatOfficial

      Thank you, I grew up on a 1984 model that unfortunately bit the dust in 2014, I received this 86 for free as part of a special deal, it's nice to be riding on my childhood snowmobile again.

      The pump has long since been replaced now, it failed catastrophically about 500 miles after putting this stuff in.
