Cool comparison. I love the looks of the TTI Viper guns, and I'm planning on getting a Pit Viper in the future. The only downside is that I'll probably have to get an optic cut because in the year 2024 I can't buy a gun that doesn't have the option of running an optic (I understand the Sand Viper is out there, but I'm not a fan of the bronze).

You made the Pit/Sand Viper what it should’ve been from the factory. I hate to bash, but all you’re paying for these days is a name. TTI is just a name you’re paying too much for, just like Staccato today. STI was a great company when they were making guns by hand, but now what you get is a production line gun for handmade money. From the factory, the Pit Viper isn’t fit well in my opinion, especially the grip/ grip safety. I’m not gonna buy an $8,000 gun that needs to be sent out for another 500-1000 bucks of work. At that point, just go get yourself an Atlas 🤦🏻‍♂️ I just hope someone else put a 2011 out with the butler cut and a comp block. The Pit Viper LOOKS great, but looks are only skin deep, just like women 😅

Who cares if monsoon tactical does ports. Ports aren't new, and almost everyone does them. There is nothing about the online ports and other stuff monsoon does, it's not copying.

My dwx fullsize has different grips and magwell. Lok grips shadow 2 compact style and tso magwell from armory crate. Love my gun. Still debating if i should get it optic ready and ported. I'm fine with the trigger, not as good as my OA Defense trigger but still top notch.

I think it’s great that you go out of your way to make your customers happy. If someone wants to pay you for a service that someone else offers, just take it as a compliment. Who cares if another company does that type of work. If customers would rather support you than them, then so be it 🤷🏽‍♂️. Tons of companies do similar work to others and sometimes end up doing it better 👀. Glock and all its clones. 1,000 different companies who make a simple AR-15. Dozens of 2011 companies. Countless companies who make the same parts for said guns or anything else. Just keep doing work, your not purposely trying to copy, ITS WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS. It’s the American way.

Who can re fit slide to frame to tighten up the fit? I have had luck “peening” the frame rails and re coating the frame and slide.. I’d have no issue paying someone to tighten up the slide to frame if they are honest with me on how they do it.. I’m not paying someone to do work that I can do my self 😆

Love the DWX full size. A DWX replacement trigger (CZ store) shoe will have the pre-travel tabs intact on the trigger bow. And there is a hole in the shoe for a set screw. You can easily make these single stage triggers with no over travel. Sear spring/leaf adjustment is a breeze. A sub 2lbs, 100% reliable trigger is easy. Also, the main spring is heavy at 23 lbs stock (you can take that down to 19lbs) and the recoil spring can some down as well. Tuned up, it will go head to head against anything, and is easier to work on, better ergos, and reliable. The only thing that I can't get info on is safety replacement (I'd like Atlas shielded safeties). May not be a viable option.

If you cut the optic for the Trijicon 1911/2011 plate. Then you can run iron sights too. I worked with Carl at Legion precision and we ran trijicon plate and iron sights.we had the same issue with Atlas plate and no irons. But customers wanted back up irons.
