I think the closest competitor would be the Candyland. With the upgrades the Priest has, they should be around the same price. Oh Skip. I found an Infinity that’s coming up for sale on their website. You wouldn’t happen to have any friends at Infinity that could hook me up would ya? 😊

Great video! Can you tell us about Vudoo Gun Works being sold to a new owner, and the fact they are 450 orders behind?? There was a time I really wanted to get one of these but I've heard that the new ownership keeps pushing lead times back and is extremely far behind.
You've already compared the Priest to its closest competitor with features and price in the MPA DS9. I chose the DS9 but would have liked the Priest as well. Now, I would choose the MPA LOC because it's superior to the DS9 in craftsmanship and is the much heavier gun that I prefer.

I know you’ve reviewed the MPA DS9 in the past, but any plans on doing an SG overhaul of a DS9 like you’ve done with that beautiful (even more so now past SG treatment) Priest? Would be curious as to what you’d do from a comp perspective since it has slide cuts already: V8 for possibly even V12 or would your famous Plague cut work? Dying to know what kind of creation you’d come up with for one of those. Thanks!
So I’d probably try to do the 3lil pigs 🐖 ports on one of them to be able to keep the slide mostly untouched. I just don’t have one to mess with unfortunately
@@SkipsGunz I just bought a brand new blacked out DS9 so I’m def gonna have to send some rounds down range to break it in and see what I like and don’t like before sending it off to you. That said, my mind has been racing with ideas from your content so def thinking some bronze accents, gas pedal, and a pinch of SG trigger magic to get that trigger reset as crisp as the pull. Smiling just thinking about it lol

First me not responding to a video comment doesn’t give you any ground to assume anything so if that’s how your making a decision that’s not very smart. That being said everything I do is honest as I believe you’re wasting your life with lies if u go that route. Now to answer your question yes there’s a new owner but same staff and sure there behind on some orders because they have delays in certain parts and are looking to bring more in-house but that cost money so if u put an order in will u have a 6month leadtime? Yes But would u rather they give u any old junk materials with no leadtime or have u wait and u receive a hand fit aluminum grip direct mount rmr cut tac driver that is built with care over money unlike basically everything else. Hopefully that answers your question and gives you the truth you seek and maybe subscribe for more

Believe my priest was caught up in this situation. Ordered in December, they quoted the build to be done early February, didn’t get it till May. Triple the quoted time.

How does this differ from just getting the factory porting?
My plague is a different style of recoil control that is based around a comp rather then a port so it gives more control over the firearm

But now that the gun is in my hands, it is phenomenal. Tighter fit than my nighthawk TRS Comp. Best non-comped or ported gun I’ve ever shot.
