Lemon Pound Cake Recipe | Korean Cafe Inspired

INGREDIENTS:
Pound Cake Batter
- 157g/0.66 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 150g/0.75 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tspVanilla
- zest of 1 lemon
- 190g/1.33 cups all purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 44g/3 tbsp sour cream
Bake at 325F for 25-30 minutes in cupcake tin. 45 minutes in a traditional loaf pan.
Lemon Icing
- juice of 1 lemon
- 260g/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
*use less powdered sugar for thin glaze
Garnish: lemon slices and rosemary

    Thank you so much for the detailed explanation! Just yesterday made a pie crust using a French baker recipe. While the recipe was really good, he never mentioned to place the baking sheet with the dough in a freezer for 15 min. So I did not 😔 as a result my dough shrunk…I could not understand why… Now, thanks to you, I know what to do 😊

    This tasted sooo good!! Unfortunately the whipped cream melted, but thank you so much for this recipe c: I loved yumeiro patissiere aswell and I’m on my like 5th rewatch. One more thing, you forgot to add vanilla extract to the list of the ingredients for the crepe batter.

      made this a second time, my family loved it!! 😁 this time the whipped cream didn’t melt because i didn’t lay out the ingredients for it before finishing cooking the crepes. i let the crepes chill in the fridge for a bit before making the whipped cream too!!

    Please give oven temp in Celsius . °C. Genoise originates in France or Italy where literally nobody uses Fahrenheit.

    This is a great recipe. A few tips… I added a packet of True Lemon Lemonade Drink packet to my powdered sugar. It makes a big difference to the depth of flavor. Also these cookies taste (in my opinion) horrible the first day. Let them set a day or so…. A night and day difference! 10 out of 10 recommend.
