This looks amazing!!! 😊 I followed your genoise recipe but found that my cakes ended up crumbly and dry - is the texture supposed to be like this or did I do something wrong? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!! Regarding your concern, genoise is typically on the drier side, but if it's really dry it might be due to undermixing. Also we usually soak the sponges when we use them to build cakes, so that should definitely help bring them some moisture!
Sugar Crystal Kitchen thank you so much for the feedback!! I noticed that your cakes definitely looked more moist than mines so I’ll give these another go :) I noticed you greased your pans as oppose to using parchment, will this affect (the height) of my cakes? I love your videos by the way!
