Welp it’s true. I’ve set out during this lifetime to find the women that become friends shoulder to shoulder. It’s been a tough journey that has resulted in a few extremely strong friendships. The “face to face” relationships I’ve made with women are always fake and last less than a year. It’s sad but if you put in the time and energy you’ll find your pack 💪🏼
Make sure to be yourself and don’t conform to another’s idea of how to behave… I make my friends, not shoulder to shoulder neither face to face, but up out of thin air

I workout to be healthy and build resilience to injury. BJJ is like the antidote to injury resilience. I would like to get into it, but it's not worth hurting myself.

Bodybuilding (as a sport) is dumb, but Dr. Mike is smart.
Some people love it and dedicate their lives to it, so different strokes for different folks
I’ve been a fan of bodybuilding for about 10 years and it’s kind of dumb but bodybuilding has the smartest/most knowledgeable coaches of any sport imo. There’s a lot of stuff other people are just figuring out now that bodybuilding people have known forever
Science is usually like 5-10 years behind bodybuilding lol
Professional bodybuilding is unhealthy. But most professional sports are, especially strength sports. However, almost all sports, especially at the hobbies and amateur level, are definitely healthy. Transitioning from strength to bodybuilding training has been damn near a Renaissance for me as I get older. I having so much more fun in the gym and letting go of the ego and heavy 1/2/3 RMs and trying to maximize my hypertrophy has made lifting so much fun.
What do you mean by dumb? Simple but not easy? Pointless, like all art forms? It's an art like making a sculpture out of marble. It's hard but looks cool and you have to follow some rules to get where you want. Or the non objective judging part?

Glassman was full of BS: things like I) CF saves the world from chronic disease and big food/pharma whilst making millions (why not a not-for-profit organization then?) or ii) we are open to change the methodology and many years later CF L1 still teaches the Glassman's gospel for the poorly educated (I studied training methodology during my PE degree on books written in the 60s-70s and we knew then that high intensity all the time is not good)
Finally somebody had the guts to say it. CrossFit has brought back into the general population circuit training and some cool training practices normally reserved to athletes. But it is not the best and only methodology
generally it can take a year to get used to the Premier leagus, especially in the shitshow called Man U. so, all our loan players do NOT succeed EG Sabitzer is playing in the champions league final and others go somewhere else and do well. Amrobat will go somewhere else and play well because, particularly foreign players, do NOT get a fair go from half the supporters and 98% of the british media. In my view Antony has never had a fair go at United and people have been waiting, sharpening their knives waiting to stick them in ETH's back from day one. Keep ten haag and stop being idiotic by making the same mistakes after FIVE managers. arteta and probably Klopp would not have survived long enough at United to succeed.

I kind of cherry pick based on what I’m interested in that day/week/month. But most people I’d recommend to pick a program and follow iit. I just like to switch It up and be more intuitive about what I feel for that day. Ultimately Its whatever will allow you to be consistent for the long run though

This is a great podcast but the amount of CZcams ads attached to it is unbearable. Idk if you guys can address it at your level but holy cow it was hard to listen to and stay engaged with the 15 ads in and hour podcast.
