Amazing progress!

When I clicked on this video I was struck by how lovely you look in the makeup you have on. So naturally enhanced!

Almost finished my last full coverage foundation and brought the replacement today - a sheer tint. Used up 3 nearly 4 lipsticks and good progress on my pan that palette. My project pan this year is 50% make up 50% beauty products & I suspect next year it will be 25% 75%. Good call on the declutters especially the foundation.

Videos like yours are what keep me going with my goal to buy as little as possible :)

You are always making so much progress. I will try to finish my Maybelline Superstay Skin tint this month. If I don’t finish it it will be decluttered before I move abroad because it is already too light for me at the moment and it will be way too light once I have been in proper sun and not this London weather 🤣 I have extended the pan in my bronzer. I have finished a mascara. And I am seeing progress in all of my lip products. I will use up the Vieve skin nova XL the next couple of weeks. All of my other empties are skincare.

Love your videos! You made me want to do a project pan and the satisfaction I get when I use something up completely is crazy! Also, it has made me so much more aware of what I have in my collection

Very impressive and well curated collection. I have been trying not to buy lip-products for 2 years after I counted to 286 lipsticks. I still have around 150 after declutters and use-ups, but I am looking forward to the day when I just have my 4-5 favorites 😅 Thanks 💖💖💖

Vicki, are you also working on pairing down finger nail items or are you fine with the size? I see it behind you. With limiting cosmetics I find I’m purchasing more nail and skincare items. 🙈 Fresh’s Rose bi-phase toner could be a new option for Merit if you would like a change. Your base makeup looks really great here.

I think you might use Warm Taupe and Love Letter together to tone it down and use it as a crease or a lower eyelid shade🤔 P.S. Congrats on the progress! Finishing a pan or two every single month, that's really impressive🎉👏

I say try using Realgar as a blush or soften it with a lighter, more neutral brown or cream when applying. Blowing out the color rather than having it be so red on your eyes.

Could you mix the shade that’s in love letter with the shade that’s in warm taupe to neutralise a bit of the orange? Great progress and update

Hi Vicky! Great update. Could you let us know overall uses for the finished products?

I used a bronzer that was too orange on me by mixing in a light pink-toned blush (similar to the Vieve blush colour) and some face powder, it neutralised and lightened it perfectly.

I just use a lip brush to get the last bit out of my lipsticks- it’s amazing just how much is left in the tube.

Do have a giggle to myself as I’ve just hit pan on a bronzer which is at least 35 years old! 🤣🤣 still works so not particularly bothered.

With Vitamin C the packaging is super important because once it oxidizes, the serum loses a lot of its effectiveness. So you want to look for opaque packaging and try to avoid dropper applicators. Naturium makes a great Vitamin C with reliable packaging and it's not expensive

Is there any reason we can’t treat Kibbe types like Kitchener essences, in that we could combine them if it makes sense? Like, you could be 50% FN and 50% SD? Because surely no one fits perfectly into one type, and I find the height restrictions really limiting. For example, I’m pretty sure I’m a soft dramatic (yang bone structure - 5’7, very long arms and legs and long, thin, hands and feet, large bust, mixed facial features, but yin flesh - very round and fleshy, soft cheeks etc). The only part that doesn’t fit is that my shoulders and rib cage are very narrow. My girlfriend is the same height as me. She is definitely not a natural because she has a very round hourglass shape, and not dramatic because other than her height she is entirely yin. And yet there is no way she is the same type as me - she has much more yin everywhere, shorter, rounded arms, legs, hands and feet, rounder face etc. If it wasn’t for her height I would say she was a pure romantic. To me it would just make more sense to combine them but idk if there’s some point that I’m missing

Used up: LaRoche Posay Toleriane cleansing milk 400ml and a travel size one, Bioderma sebium clear cleansing gel, beauty of Joseon sunscreen, SVR sebium moisturiser sample, cerave foaming cleanser sample, rare beauty under eye brightener. Still will be using up this month: Bioderma pigmentbio night renewer moisturiser, Laroche Posay hydraphase legere moisturiser and eye cream. Hopeful to use up: maybelline super stay skin tint, NYX fat oil in missed call.

I miss non-petrochemical based products in your empties series.

I have the same thing with the Redken conditioner!! Its so hard to get it out

I just had an analysis done by Ellie-Jean, and she told me I was a Soft Dramatic. Now I'm trying to absorb as much information as possible. I was really surprised because I'm not very tall, and I thought the Dramatics category would be the last on the list for me. Clearly, I'm a complete novice. 😫

I hope my comment genuinely helps. I don’t think you are soft dramatic and here’s why. When looking at body types start with the basics. It’s a combination of bone structure and flesh. Bone structure will be sharp, blunt, or soft. Flesh will be dry, athletic, or soft. You have to fit the combination of these things to be a certain body type.The bone structure of a dramatic is undeniably sharp. Think sharpness in the bones of the cheeks, nose, collarbone, wrists, hands, etc. So a SD has sharp bones with soft flesh on top. This is the first test and that’s where it doesn’t quite fit for you. You have very blunt bones. Not only in your face but also in your body. It lacks sharpness. And yes you can slightly fit into hours glass and long vertical but these are very long vertical and very hourglass women. Yours is more on the moderate side. So with blunt bones, soft flesh, moderate to tall vertical, and slight hourglass you don’t fit SD. That being said you look beautiful and I find that we can borrow concepts from body types that are close even if they aren’t fully us.

I like the SD idea on you and understand why the FN could feel off. I have the same battle as you and also think I’m best in SD. One thing I’ve found that works for me do I don’t feel like I’m trying to go to prom ever day I’d to wear a lot of one color outfits with a crisp tailored shirt over. This helps me feel pulled together, strong and also professional for work.

I like the Spring colour makeup more on you, the autumn video makeup just doesn’t look the freshest on you. The spring makes me look at your features, your eyes pop.
