  • I did yoga every day for a month in April. Here are my thoughts about it. Have you done this?

    I have been going to a yoga class with my husband once a week since January. It has been a great activity to do together. Last year I managed to do Adrienne's 30 days and went on to do it for about another 6 weeks. Then life got in the way. I have just started her latest 30 days of yoga and I am on day 5 currently. It is very hard sometimes to get on the mat, but it always feels worth it.

      That's lovely that you can do yoga together. There's a couple of men in my yoga class and I like that more men are open to trying it. I agree, it is difficult to find the time and/or motivation to get on the mat but I always feel better for it.

    I have been doing yoga for 10 years now with Adriene. I highly recommend the app even if it is just for a month. There are different series on there that I would highly recommend when it comes to chronic pain. I am dealing with autoimmunity and I have some issues with chronic fatigue and aches in my legs. First thing I do in the morning is yoga and it’s made a massive difference

    Loved this! I used to do asthanga yoga over a decade a go. Then I started to rather go to gym. But fir the past 3 years I have not been working out due to pregrancies and postparum time. But I really need to start taking better care of my body! I'm having back pain as I'm writing this and it's only because I'm in such a bad shape. Maybe I should try to do a little bit of yoga every day because I never felt as good in my own body than back in the days when I used to yoga more

      Thank you :) What's great about yoga is that you can ease yourself in gently - do yin yoga or just 10-15 minutes. It's so customisable. And when you hit your 30s you do notice that your body needs a lot more movement lol.

    I learned to do my own neck & face massage. This melts away stress. Diaphragm breathing may help you for relaxation.

      Massage is so important I agree, I get a full body massage once per month. I do notice a difference when I breathe 'properly' too!

    Vicki :)) if you're interested in yoga I would super super highly recommend the Isha yoga practices, especially if you want to try Surya Kriya or Inner Engineering, it's really something else :) if you try for one month your life will be completely transformed on all aspects

      Yes I think it has helped a bit with the pain. Unfortunately it seems that my pain flares up when there's no reason for it to, and when that happens I need to be careful how much load bearing I do in my arms.

    Hi Vicki
    Yoga is actually a religious practice that is worshipping demons.
    It is not simply another form of stretching and exercise.
    There’s a ton of information on the subject here on CZcams, as well as other places.
    I purchased a book called‘Death of a Guru’ from Amazon during the lockdowns. Written by a man brought up in the hindu religion, he explains in depth the history of yoga, and how it is actually a form of demonic worship.
    Just stay away from yoga.
