Sir so just 1 male?
Everyone says Cardinals are much tougher
Ha
Hi I have some questions:I currently have a 10 gallon with 3 guppies and 2 Otocinclus and I was wondering what other fish I can keep them with I wonder if I can keep them with endlers, corydoras and maybe a honey gourami? Will that work out?
I'm wondering about how to keep the sand somewhat clean. How much can I disturb their shells in order to gently vacuum it? Thanks.
I also love the rummynose rasboras. The Galaxies/CPDs had a bad habit of disappearing forever, but they were colorful cuties in their own way.
Hey there, could you do a video on top 5 fish for a 65 gallon tank. I haven't found a video on it and I want something unique! I get my brand new tank tomorrow!
Still my favorite of all time aquatic creatures. They just bring me an unexplainable peace…
All
I have two Pearl Gouramis and a large honey gouramis in with my angelfish and they do great together ❤️ 💓
Dwarf blue gouramis are aggressive? Not the ones we have, or ever had.
Massive respect for doing a two year follow up! That's tragically rare.
I have assorted tetras an glo fish in a 55gal. Could I put these in with the ones I have?
I got 12 of these fish when I was cycling my 55 gallon aquarium I didn't expect them to make it somehow all 12 of them are still living 2 years later...
Is there room for a heater in the filter?
Honey and pearl gouramis are definitely peaceful, but I personally wouldn't recommend them as angelfish tankmates as angelfish and gouramis are very similar in appearance, which can lead to some territorial behavior Not to say that it can't work out, of course, just that it's a bit risky compared to some of the safer options
Love my bristle nose
shrimp cory shrimp cory i hate those

Yes, I LOVE THEM! Late to the game, but got my first fluorescent Bettas last month and scored some awesome YELLOW GloSkirt Tetras this week!
They are definitely the nippiest tetra I've ever had. Had a group of 9 in a 29g and they've all got fin pieces missing, even in a low stocked tank. I have them in a 20g hex with a King Betta (short finned variety) and so far things are working out, and they're less aggressive, lots of nooks and crannies to break line of sight and to support the betta to be closer to the waterline.
Can't get these shrimp in NZ told they were a bio hazard
Even fish generally considered safe could be picked on a bit. My honey gouramis get nipped a bit and chased off if I don't spot feed cause the angel gets greedy lol. He's so cute but such a jerk sometimes 😅
Driftwood isnt cheap from the store. , outragious
200%😢

I have a 210 litre community tank With dwarf blue gouramis, Rosey Barb's, neons, Bristlenose catfish, Dalmatian Molly's (they just had 30 live young 2 weeks back all present and accounted for) and 13 black phantom tetras a mix of male and female, all with the baby's around 70 to 80 fish at present in that tank with a 560 litre tank waiting to be set up I have plenty of plants growing and lots of caves, rocks, bits of wood for all to keep up a healthy existence, I have been very lucky in having 3 excellent mentors from 3 pet shops giving me good advice especially as a 5 month newbie, trusting the knowledge of professionals and doing my own due Diligence as a follow-up to confirm anything I didn't catch when talking to those people I love the way the black phantoms just slid into the tank and fitted in like they always belonged Thanks for a great video Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Okay that was horrible to not show use the one that had a guard on it to show us with the guard since you didnt use it with the guard
They have no where to hide
can confirm about shrimp fry and guppy snax. i thought i'd get a touch of population control...... what i got was a feeding frenzy. they were obsessed. now i need a diff place to put them so the shrimp can go back to doing their thing. (guppies AND endlers actually)
I used to use Marineland Bio-wheel Penguine filters exclusively. I picked up one of these 6 months ago the 125 Pro for a 20 gallon setup. The pump in the water seemed like a great idea, no priming, except that the pump intermittently refuses to start after being plugged back in following bi-weekly cleanings. This is not a minor fluke either, it legitimately will not come on 50% of the time. Smacking it doesn't help, tanking the pump off and cleaning the impeller has no effect on it, priming the filter with water has no effect, its like some wiring inside is just janky. The only solution is to repeatedly plug and unplug it, sometimes for 5 mins straight, sometimes it still won't start. Huge disappointment because in all other aspects, this filter is a big step up from the old penguin, prefilter, media basket for extra media and a hinged lid that works great, adjustable flow control. This filter should rock but sucks because its unreliable. It has never stopped once started, it just doesn't like to start. I ended up retrieving my old Penguin of the same size from my parents house on a visit, swapped my wheel in and haven't had a problem since. My old Penguin ran for close to 10 years and sat in a garage for another 10. It still starts and runs strong.
Wow - that’s interesting. You must have gotten a bad unit?
First time I've seen the Cyprichromis, those look great. I am wanting to add more of an upper area fish to my multi tank and will look into those.

I have seen bettas tear up an Angelfish´s tail as well, I agree it´s not an easy combination
Thank you for this information. I would’ve never guessed that an angelfish is aggressive.
Angelfish are chichilds so yes, they can be aggressive.
Yeah they are not angels as I thought years ago that cyclid dna
