Hi bro. Thanks for the video. I have the same problem with my R6 2008 : full gaz at low rpm on track and the engine downs idle and the throttle have no reactions. When I enter to diag mode I see this error in d61 : 50. Tho it seems to be the same problem. What do you think of that ? Could it be the fuel pump ? Thanks. (And sorry for my language, im french)
Hi bro. Thanks for the compliment. D61 is the malfunction history codes of the past. 50 is all about the fuel system. I can't say definitely that, it's the fuel pump that's causing the issue. My advice to you, would be to perform the same test that I did on my bike. The test though is referred only for the fuel pump efficiency. Other components of the fuel line system have to be checked separately if the pump is good.
@@Geed94 thanks. If it's not that, could it be TPS sensor ?
It might be the TPS sensors. Check if the sensors resistance are according to specs. My bike TPS sensors specs are out of order but after the new pump installed, there's no issue. A bad fuel pump filter can cause this problem too.
@@Geed94 hi bro. Thanks for your time. Unfortunately I've just changed the pump and the filter on this week, and I've just been testing the bike today and the issue is not fixed. The error code 50 came back instantly when I make full gas on low rpm. No problem with high rpm, but with the low rpm at full gaz, the issue appears instantly. So I don't understand. And I have track day at Le Mans in less than 2 weeks so I think I won't succeed in fix the issue before. It's sucks
I'm sorry for the bad outcome after the pump changed. It's a very tricky fault to say the least. I went to the Yamaha dealership and explained my issue to the technician, he searched on the computer and told me, it could be the ECU. I didn't believe him so I went ahead with my diagnostic test. My bike fault that you saw in the video, happened only on that mountain road. Every other place it ran perfectly fine. It's a very mysterious fault and my advice would be, test all the components that have to do with the fuel system and non. Stop replacing components without a proper diagnosis test. I replaced the 4 spark plugs and filled the tank full and the bike was running fine. When the fuel gauges light came on the dashboard, the issue came back. I'm having my bike almost a year now, but it took me 4 months to figured out the problem. Do a lot of diagnostic test to pinpoint the issue. Let someone that's good at diagnosis help if it's overwhelming. You got it, don't loose hope.
what does the throttle adaptation look like? Are you writing this because I don't know your language?
I said the the throttle adaptation was automatic after the cleaning. The throttle started functioning perfectly after the installation. I didn't use any scan tool to do the adaptation.
@@Geed94 and for example hold the ignition on for 60 seconds, then start it?
I don't know well about this but I'd add pressing the accelerator down too for some seconds. Don't worry too much about this adaptation issue, because the throttle will adjust itself while you drive around.

Allora hai presente l'altra volta lo carburato tutto ieri senza smontare il blocco ho montato il 70 il Polini corsa in pratica lo acceso tempo 2 secondi si spegne tipo se qualcuno avesse spento il motorino non ha fatto vuoti nulla di nulla controllo la candela e non faceva scintille oggi ho controllato i cavi se si erano staccati ma nulla non so da dove cominciare PS: avresti Instagram o facebook?
Se hai montato il 70, purtroppo ti tocca ricarburare tutto di nuovo. Se il carburatore poi è 12, per il 70 non ha senso. Insomma rende poco perché fa passare meno carburante. Prenditi un 19 che raccomandano di essere perfetto per 70.
Si lo so in fatti ho montato il 19 il problema è che non fa più scintille la candela e io oggi ho ricontrollato tutti i cavi non ho controllato volano statore e centralina solo non so da dove incominciare a guardare

Hi mate at 10:56 the hose is the little one that has a white strip around it on your right. When is removed, you can feel air coming out. Notice that if your Mito engine is different, it might not be the same.
Buon video grazie della spiegazione la mia macchina andava benissimo al punto che sembrava una elettrica quabto silenziosa era, dopo che ho cambiato e ricambiato candele al minimo vibra e volevo provare a pulire il corpo farfallato 👍
Ciao man, grazie per tua motivazione. Comunque questo guasto era temporaneo e si faceva vedere dopo una forte accelerazione. Anche la autodiagnosi indicava il corpo farfallato guasto. Prima di provare a pulire, assicurati almeno che i sintomi siano simili.

Ma il tuo carburatore è l'originale cioè il 12? Se hai il filtro a cono è molto difficile da carburare.
Si purtroppo è un filtro a cono di quelli cinesi per intenderci quelli delle pit bike e si anche il carburatore è 12

Did the part that goes into the calliper just slide out or is it threaded?
The cable has a knob at the end and it's hooked to the calliper, therefore it slides out.

Ciao, guardi io ho messo questo pomello dopo aver guardato un ragazzo che l'aveva messo su una fiat punto vecchia, con un cambio a siringa (simile al tuo cambio) quindi è fattibile. Purtroppo ha cancellato il video e non ti so dire come ha messo la cuffia per poter mettere la retromarcia.
Yo bro i have a 2 stroke scooter i installed the black edition 21mm carb and the scooter bascically turns on for likr 3 seconds and just turns off like its not getting gas but the carb is full of gass
You might have the air closed. Adjust the air and fuel mixture for the carb and lastly check the spark plug
It seems that the air is closed and the carb is running only with gas. Open the air with 2 full turn from the closed position and adjust the gas. Too much gas is rich and it's not good. The carb can't perform well if it's not properly tuned.

Nessuna esitazione in fase di accelerazione e niente spia. Fino adesso non si è più ripresentato il problema e posso confermare che mi ha risolto il guasto.

You mean the air cable coming from the carburator? Exactly you pull it for the cold start and as soon as the engine idle you close it.

Allora qua montava come carburatore il 17,5 dell'orto, filtro aria a cono. Come taratura erano frizione Evolution Racing, molla di contrasto bianco, molle frizione Malossi gialle e 4g i rulli.
Quindi adesso monti un 21 o un 19 ?
