I know the pain she’s going through. I am also a Gymnast and I wasn’t able to compete at states as I fractured my ankle and was out for a month and a half but I still went to the states to support my team, but it was very hard to watch because I couldn’t compete. Hope your daughter feels better!

I noe the feeling i just broke my knee and im super sporty😢

My daughter was diagnosed with avascular necrosis right before her 3rd competition of the season. We were both devastated. But... She still showed up for the next 2 comps and was backstage helper for recital. Her disability didn't make her less of a teammate that's for sure. Proud of your both your daughter and you mom. It's so hard for us to sit back and watch. At least for me it was. I was filled with both pride(more than any performance)and fear.

I’m actually a level 6 competitive gymnast and I broke my growth plate in my foot back in February missing the two biggest meets of the season and I went to both of them to support my team. It was tough but I know it was the right decision. I hope she has a speedy recovery and can get back out there to win. ❤

May I ask what happened?

I had the same feeling as well. I broke my elbow and had to have surgery for it at the beginning of 2024. My volleyball season was coming up, so it was really hard to see my teammates play when I couldn’t. I still went to games and practices to support my team, but when you’re injured you want to do your sport or hobby more than you can’t do. She is so strong!💪

This is so sweet! This reminds me of the time my friend for my gymnastics team broke her arm yet she still came and supported us at competitions and she was able to do the last competition! This is amazing and I hope your daughter is able to do a competition with her team again!❤

Can I ask how did she break her leg?

I had a cast and crutches 6 weeks ago and I couldn't play soccer so I went watch and support my team.I almost needed surgery and a hip cast luckly I didn't get one, mine was only a facture but it was really bad

Omg I have a broken ankle right now and it’s so hard. I’m missing softball season and almost all summer. It’s really annoying but it will get better trust me!

Girl she is slaying the day and as someone who is just starting to walk with a boot on after breaking my leg badly like 10 weeks ago, I am still going to all my dance recital and showcases and I’m a HUGE soccer fan and I’m going to all my practices and games and I haven’t missed a single game or practice or performance that has happened in the span of the past 10 weeks (my mental health is dead but I’m still going along) and she can do it and I hope she never ever gives up (just think about all the famous athletes who have gotten really badly injured and then they came back better than ever, pretend you’re just secretly getting way better) hope you feel better and it will honestly be over before you know it and it will not be fun but you got this ❤❤❤❤

Pls let her know she isn’t alone. I missed my whole volleyball season because I broke my foot. I also missed multiple basketball practices too. It broke my heart because I love sports and it was so hard to sit the bench watching my team. I couldn’t do anything until 3 months. It will get better… I promise

I feel you I broke my wrist during volleyball season and had to recover the rest of the season and it was my last season playing with all my friends

I broke my pinky at the ends of gymnastics season and it sucked watching others do so well. Now three months later I’m able to do even more than I could’ve done before I broke my pinky. Tell her to never give up!! 💗💗💗

It’s been a hard year for a lot of gymnasts but you will make a quick recovery. I am in a boot right now just like you.

I got had severe tendinitis in my right foot and had to take a year out of dance while strengthening back up. The hardest part wasn’t the rebuilding but the sitting in the corner watching my friends dance the lessons I couldn’t. A year later I am back dancing stronger than ever. If u read this just know that you’re strong and you’ve got this! When you’re back competing it will feel 100x better knowing how hard you’ve had to fight and rebuild to get there. ❤❤

I broke my foot a bout 4 weeks ago at my dance comp was really hard for me. I still went to dance, but I couldn’t do anything. we’ve had two dance competitions and I have not been able to perform. It is been really hard for me especially if I go to dance and can’t do anything I have a fill In person and she’s not the best person and it’s really a confidence ruiner. 😭
