ive noticed banana plants hate self watering pots. I have a Veranda Banana tree I potted a week and a half ago watered it once and not since and its still reading wet on my water meter. I may take off the self watering saucer from the pot

I live on a coffee farm and I have to say I am impressed with the size of your coffee tree, 18 months usually doesn't result in coffee trees that large. That or we aren't very good at growing coffee.

I do this as well, and even though they get direct sun light half of the day(in istanbul), some of them start growing taller and leave the other ones in shadow i guess. Cause the other ones look healthy but stay shorter and have less set of leaves therefore. so i need to trim the tall ones regularly, even before i let them grow as tall as yours.

Very nice. The one thing I'd do differently is making it way bigger, which I guess you wouldn't be able to print with a 3D printer, would you? I currently have a big 27 gallon square tub, the kind you can pick up from your big box store for $10 and have kale growing out of it. I'm doing it because I'm new to hydroponics. It's the summer here and I don't need this yet, but want to gain experience. I'd LOVE to be able to grow a tree indoors. Specifically, an avocado tree. I'm not even sure if that's possible.

I was wondering if it would be better to install one small blower on each tube instead of having one bigger blower blowing air on all the tubes at the same time. The idea is to have continuous airflow in case one blower stops functionning and more flexibility for air distribution. We can switch on and off one or more blowers if needed to get the desirable airflow.

Is worm casting, coco coir and pumice with charcoal as the base for basils all i need? When u say droop then do you mean when they leaning down more thwn straight?

Excellent, I like the way you pull the plastic tight. I usually use wiggle wire. Good job I like summer too but I live on the big island of Hawaii so I don’t have to deal with winter. But I do deal with too much rain and I live at 4000 feet and so does get cold here at night. Aloha.

I have a super small citrus greenhouse with 30 feet of geo soon with big volume basket collector 5 feet down. It keeps my greenhouse on solar at 85 in 100f weather. 13c ground temp, 18" frostline.

any updates? Many times in this (very helpful) video you said things like, "I think..." "I believe..." "I hope..." How did it turn out?

My husband is from Hadeland and it is fun seeing plant growing videos from Norway. He grew up on a potato and wheat farm, but is not interested in growing plants at all. If you use a very wide and shallow bucket, with good internal support, you can get it grow much larger, with less hight lost to the bucket. If the bucket is really wide and gets shallower and shallower in the extents, the canopy should follow similar geometry to the roots. This till give you more biomass above the bucket without compressing hight.

This is interesting! We have successfully grown pineapples in our grow tent indoors. We have tents on display in our store so we decided to grow pineapples both hydroponically and in soil, and we have harvested a couple of times now 😂 so I’m guessing it’s definitely possible to harvest papayas indoors, of course in the right conditions! Great content! 🙌🏻

I've watched a video where they say you should only keep 2-3 pups with the mother plant. More pups than that, and the mother will put all her energy into the pups and not grow her own bananas. Just a video I watched today.

Very nice, I am growing cuttings in Canada of coffee and have several citrus trees that produce under cree lights. No hydro yet but since cannabis became legal in Canada grow light are cheap.
