Very nice project - you should definitely think about making the growing LED panels available. Would be nice if people can reproduce your DIY Aerogarden...

You are a very talented man. I cannot believe that you put this whole plan together and learned so much from it including welding the frame together. Pretty damn good for someone who never welded before. It looks great and I hope it does what you want it to do? Great job and video!

You've designed and made a wonderful unit Christopher (I was going to say brilliant unit, but because the lights actually are brilliant I would have had to say 'a brilliant, brilliant fixture' and that would have been too long) so I decided on wonderful even though it is brilliant, brilliant. Your joy and passion for what you do is contagious and I believe that makes happy plants. Just look at how they grow for you.
I've been learning from your videos. I'm 71 and have successfully gardened outdoors, but not indoors. I'm mostly confined to bed. Still I would like to grow a few herbs in the kitchen. I've bought a wonderful restaurant style 5 shelf unit and plan to use 2 of the shelves for herbs.. I need advice on lighting since that is the most important thing plants need. I'm on a fixed income. Space and cost are issues.
I'm planning to watch all of your videos. I feel I will learn much from them. Any advice you feel up to sharing for my particular situation will be greatly appreciated.

A rocket heater would do wonders for your greenhouse especially with the underground heat storage

Did you buy the LED panels and if so, were they expensive/how much?

Hahaha, thanks! The panels are made by me. I designed them, and produced them myself in my electronics workshop. :-)

I'm thinking to start hidroponic pepper and wondering about how to setup led light. Do I need to buy specialized led light or does any regular led will be enough to support the plant untip harvest? The room still got sunlight although not so strong
