I’ll admit, there were a few episodes, and even a few moments I didn’t mind. But, the show overall failed. There were episodes that didn’t make sense (even for a world of cartoon teen heroes that act like toddlers) and the morals are just bad. Like in one episode, Raven tells her friends to read a book when they were bored, and when they got bored of reading their books, they opened Raven’s book that released evil characters and at the end, they learned that reading is dangerous?? Even as a kid, I was like “Is there no library in Jump City?” That’s just one example of a plethora of bad episodes, plots, morals, messages, etc.. There were some gem moments and episodes I enjoyed but the show failed to live up to what the OG Teen Titans did. 3.5 / 10

Robin in Go! is one of the worst characters in history. he beats his team mates more than the bad guys do. hell one Christmas episode they didnt get presents, so what does Robin suggest.... BEAT THE S*** OUTTA SANTA!!!! and they do. i fear small children watching this series, because if i disagree or say No to one of them i might get beaten with a bat...

I don’t think people understand that Go is *supposed* to be a poopy fart show and the writers don’t care about the plot or small details. If you listen to some panels with the VAs they state that they just think about something stupid and turn it into an episode because the whole show is for funsies. I understand that we had this amazing show previously but just like the ending of the OG, things change and you simply can’t control it no matter how much you hate it. But besides that, when it comes to things like this it’s a hard collaboration to make since you have to mash up a show with story (that is very important to keep) and a show that is totally random (all it needing is a fart joke). It was probably a super hard movie to write knowing they had to keep that silly humor to fit Go.

Okay somewhat related to comparing Teen Titans and TTG: I hate the reboots for Ben 10 and Thundercats. They are exactly the same thing as TTG, all lousy humor with no lessons that make me wish for the original shows again. I barely remember Thundercats because I was so young when I watched it but I remember loving that show and thinking the whole Liono with his sword and chant was one of the coolest things ever.

I chose the Titans original series over the Teen Titans Go, for obvious reasons.

The reason why they didnt do the arc is because the whole joke of the Go!Robin is that he sucks and everyone hates him and everything goes wrong for him. Its horrible and i hate it, but that's just what they always do from the little ive seen of this show.

As a teen fan of both TTG and the original TT, I’m honestly just glad to see them both together in the same film. Yes, the TTG titans were weaker than the OG, but at least there *were* some moments where the comedy did slap. 🙂

Great Video but I have to be honest the new teen titans new show is teddy bear soft. I repeat it's teddy bear soft. Nothing like the original one. The New titans are soft titans. I liked the early seasons, even though I hated the idea of making this show over continuing the original. I stopped watching after seasons 3 or 4 I think and years later a saw some episodes of the later seasons and was appalled at how lame the plots got it reminded of the later sponge bob episodes where the stories were about 4o1k and adult shit like that.

He was a creep in this version too, tf? Super gross how people still make sexualized "artwork" of him and Raven. They dropped the problematic plot from the comics with him and Tera, but he's still manipulating her - borderline grooming.

What makes Teen Titans Go unwatchable for me is the constant bullying of Robin and what they did to the character overall.

I only saw the We Are Teen Titans Rap number, and I felt like I had seen enough of this movie.

I remember when teen titans was on boomerang in 2013 and found it way more interesting in ttg. Season 1-4 of ttg was kinda good tho but as time went by the writers wanted to just fully disrespect my Robin who’s my favorite character💀

Nah the TTG Robin would have learned a lesson if TT Robin would have offered him the worlogog but TTG Robin says he wished this , the him before today would have been over the moon but he knows he isn't ready and asks TT Robin to hold on to it and say that he will train to one day be a capable leader that could be trusted with the worlogog

What bothers me the most is that they can air the final season of the original Teen Titans but I guess they chose not to. There are so many shows that were cancelled that will never get to finish their stories but TT has the chance. But they just keep on airing Go!

3:26 that’s because those cunts took up like 10 time slots in the morning time alone. I was getting older and zoning out of cartoons at the time and that was the perfect push. Those rating are manufactured and forced. Not to mention it was hard for the og show to get rating because they kept moving the show to awkward time slots

I used to absolutely HATE Teen Titans Go (despite the fact I grew up watching it when it first aired and it became my first favorite cartoon) not only because I discovered that the OG Teen Titans existed before TTG but also because TTG started to really diverge from the way the characters were in Seasons 1-2 when they went onwards to the later and current seasons but now I don’t mind TTG at all and just catch up to each new episode on the rare occasions I actually watch TV. Imo TTG was great until they fell off with the following episodes after Season 3 started *ESPECIALLY* because of the humor. Teen Titans on the other hand when I discovered them? Quite literally became the only thing I kept my mind on like it was an addictive drug. I bought all the comics that featured specifically this version of the TT, I read every single comic-style graphic novel in my town library I could get my hands on that had this version of the TT, 100% of my Google image searches were just any visual trace of the show’s episodic existence, I genuinely started my Pinterest account just to look at Teen Titans fan art, and (you won’t believe me when I say this) I was obsessed with Beastboy so much I deadass at one point in my childhood seriously wanted my dream house to be entirely painted in Beastboy’s color scheme (outside AND inside). But eventually the high wore off the day I finished binge watching every single episode of TT and ever since that day I came at peace with TT and the abomination that is TTG that started of so fucking well but now lives as an irritating shell of its former self. Overall I don’t hate TTG but I also don’t love it anymore either so seeing someone like you express a similar feeling like I did really makes me happy to finally know I’m not the only one who sees TTG vs TT this way.

Even as a kid i disliked TTG... It was just too much, the humor, the characters, the amount of airing it got! Like, I wanted to watch Regular Show or Gumball, but they aired 2 episodes of them and then went straight back to this!

i just wish they could be bothered to animate the 2003 titans they way they were animated in 2003, instead of with 2D animation rigs. Plus the 2003 titans were off-model compared to the original tv show. Robins Jawline is too angular, cyborgs movement is too stiff. But I guess that would take too much time and money for CN

TTG would be SO much more enjoyable imo if Go Robin was allowed to be as silly as the other Titans.

However you act, not watch"the academy"episode. They actually have enough audacity for referencing green lantern,krypto,brave and the bold and more!

With all due respect I have to be truthful in the virtues of Mulan loyal brave and true Teen Titans original that works teenage drama just the right amount of humor from beast boy acting like teenagers living together as roommates and still having time to save the world just the right amount of anime cartoon Network and really cool now that worked I loved watching it but teen Titans Go is not even humorous in my opinion it's a mockery of the cool and wonderful originals you made it to humorous and not in a good way Robin does not have baby hands he has hands from working with Batman all those years a man who saved him from a tragedy of losing his family seeing what happened to him as a boy Batman did and took him in as a zone and Robin went out to create his own team the teen Titans so in my opinion how dare you mark him and the reputation of superheroes and truth justice and Tarra she's not a complete villain she was a lost soul kind of like Anakin Skywalker from Star wars who had a rough life and made a lot of mistakes but in the end she did the right thing how dare you mark it again and Robin and Starfire love each other how dare you make it look like they hate each other that's not the Robin and Starfire that I know so how dare you mock superheroes beast boy is humorous but he's not that down beats he's just the right amount of seriousness love and humor in the original but you teen Titans Go took it too far how dare you again and how dare you mess with cyborg now give me back the teen Titans original right now sorry if that came off strong but I have to say it

Not gonna lie I wish they brought back the OG show it was so good. I always thought The Batman was a prequel to Teen Titans. I don't know if that's true or not but it's a really good show. DC has some legendary animated shows. I prefer them over the live action material. Animation has always been DC's realm. I wished they focused more on it.

I absolutely adore this version of Carol Ferris; she’s more grounded and surprisingly wise. So much so that she inspired Ghia’ta to become a grassroots revolutionary.

I love that the Nidara (jellyfish creatures) are actually harmless. They’re miners who eat the yellow orm . Side note: they remind me of the seven dwarves for the sole fact that they work in a quarry.

My main issue with the show is that the showrunners and everyonr else involved antagonize anyone who isnt a fan of the show while also stuffing their time slots full with nothing but the show which lead to other shows being ended early or cancelled before they could get running

When it was announced that teen titan go would end on it's 200th episode, my entire school was so happy. We connected over the fact this rage inducing wannabe cartoon was finally gonna end. And to emphasize my point, kids at my old school would literally rather stab someone than agree on anything. Pretty sure it happened a few times actually. But yeah, Teen Titans Go was such a common enemy it brought kids together at a school that's students never work together on anything. And then the show didn't end.

Honestly they probably gave 2003 robin the weird magic ball thing (I didnt watch the movie) because the Go team is so incompetent that they would have to do a sequel

TTG and the othwr atrocious CN revoots make me appreciate the Duck Tales reboot even more.

I think my issue with '03 Robin's characterization is that I've always felt we're supposed to view him as the bad guy. He's the only one who doesn't get along, at all with his 2013 counterpart. He's constantly presented as this brooding grimdark superhero which has almost never been the case in the 2003 show. He's had _stints_ where he did the Batman schtick, but they've frequently been under specific types of pressure. Here, he's treated by the writers as a buzzkill. Yes, his constant trashing of his GO! self is intended to kind of throw the audience a bone, but his constant refusal to engage with the "fun", his hogging of scenes, and even the bit at the end where he keeps the Worlogog, it all feels so artificial. Especially in the case of the lattermost scene, where Cyborg and Raven just look utterly bummed out.

Teen Titans had more character development and more serious and wholesome moments. It also had better use of its main villains Blackfire, Deathstroke, H.I.V.E., and Killer Moth. While everything in Teen Titans Go is entirely and unnecessarily random which leads to the plot making zero sense.

Btw the new animated movie Crisis on Infinite Earths 3 just confrimed that Teen Titans 2003 universe was destroyed in canon
