First bit as I watch through your video. I really appreciate that you touch on the topic of the different types of laser tech. CO2, Diode, and fiber: because not a ton of other videos really dive into that technical aspect of what they are basically. Really really liked that. Also you did a really good job of touching on what the differences are between each and the price point one could expect when choosing one of these types of laser. I started watching this video to learn more about the laser I just purchased and learned a significant amount about the market well above what I'm willing to pay but loved learning on where this can go.

Love your tutorials. You have the best teaching style. Thank you. Can you make an STL into a sketch? Once I make the mesh to a solid, then refine the image, I end up with a nice solid, but I can't figure out how to make it so that I can constraint the lines to add the dimensions and end up with a working sketch. This way I can put the dimensions into a spreadsheet and make the part parametric. Can you help?

What I learned here is to never get a bowden tube style printer. Direct driver head may be heavier but if you print slower then no problem. I have an ANET A6 which I printed braces to hold the frame down on the base and I use default accel and jerk. In draft mode even it prints great. I printed a fan nozzle a bit more directed than original all works well. Bowden sounds like a pain.

Did you have your s1 in any type of enclosure for the Nylon or Nylon-X? Wondering how much value is added with a soft enclosure, seems like a filament dryer is more important, though I am in Denver, so may not be an issue here. Thanks again!

What I do, and what I recommend to anyone who prints indoors, is to build an enclousure with a inline fan on the top that blows the toxins outside. By giving the enclouser negative pressure because you blow away the air in the enclouser, negative pressure is created and no toxic substances can escape into the hobby room and other rooms. I test it by placing a piece of paper against the door gap. If it sticks, you know that no toxic gases can escape. I am not in favor of just filtering the air as the filters have been tested in perfect conditions and with the correct flow rate and equipment, toxic gases will always not be filtered, especially if they are not replaced frequently. I also use an Airmega Coway air filter with Hepa filter in the living areas next to my hobby room for extra protection.

Hygiene is not even a factor on a washed cookie cutter. I see the guys outside my house digging in the weekly refuse bins every week and hauling out the old food. Their constitutions must be amazing as the same ones are there almost every week. Dangerous old food is not doughy or plant based I don't think. Fish or chicken is the big danger after staying out of the refrigerator for too long. PETG can be printed pretty much water proof anyway. Even then, I was in an African country up north from us and they used an old corrugated zink roof sheet to sell their raw meat daily. The sheet iron was never washed and was black ! Theses guys survived and COVID hardly affected Africa, despite the people refusing to wear masks or to do social distancing. 🤣🤣🤣
