Bought one of these, but the tuner doesn’t work…. Changed to new batteries, the tuner turns on but nothing happens in the meter when I play a note. Are the electronics just broken or am I missing something😐

Lady, you are an amazing bundle of talent. These wonderful little songs of yours just keep popping up on my computer - the more of them I watch, the more that surface - so much fun. Many of them are from before I even started following you on CZcams. And a while back when you told us about all that happened that made you drop out of sight several years ago, I really hoped you would start posting again. So sad that you haven't, but I still hold out hope. You're simply amazing.

hey, does it play without an amp? I mean like a simply acoustic ukulele for practice? should we have to plug it in the amp, every time we play/practice?
It does play without an amp yes! However you will not get the same projection compared to an acoustic hollow-body instrument. You can 100% play these unplugged for practice, but I would also be aware that because of the nature of the solid body design, the tone you will get from this instrument un-amplified will be on the thinner/tinnier end. I will suggest to our team that we share a sample of this non-amplified.

If you have a question for Kevin I highly recommend checking out his website www.allforuke.com or his CZcams channel under the same name : Allforuke. You will likely get a response quicker that way. Kevin is a wonderful teacher and I am sure if he was alerted to your comment he would have responded.
@@kalabrandmusic While your ukulele might sound great. That particular amp has a setting for an acoustic instrument. Like I said half that sound is coming from that particular amp. To the average person they would not know that. So they just buy an amp which is made for an electric guitar,, and its going to sound awful. Then they will wonder why they bought a ukulele that sounds like crap.
@@slooky14 Thank you for the input, citing the video listed on Kevin's CZcams channel the Uke is plugged into a Radial DI Box, and then into a Bose L1 Compact Speaker. czcams.com/video/UkcLhYohOJU/video.html I have personally played this model through a variety of amps and like with most electric instruments with some tweaking of the dials I was happy with the tone! If you have any doubt about amplifying your ukulele I would definitely recommend testing out the amp if you can, before buying.

Congrats! I've recently "discovered" the U-BASS and have been trying to decide which one I'm going to buy. I like the Journeyman models with the f-holes that sound akin to an upright bass. This solid body model also sounds lovely and Magnus' playing was wonderful. So nice! All the best.
