The Seaboard Coast Line Reborn
The Florida Central Railroad, a shortline with branches in Orlando, Ocala, Winter Haven and Lake Wales, recently started a program to paint a few of their locomotive in predecessor road colors. The predominant predecessor road for them in Florida was the Seaboard Coast Line. I set out to find one of their black and yellow homages.

Hi, name is Peter amateur radio operator k ATT p. K, I have the same radio as you lay up. Leave the Motorola CD M1550. I'm a general class license. And I would say almost a professional Royal fan. I, I'm originally from New York State and got a lot of pictures that you would love to say. From Fairport, New York and the airport New York has 3 trucks. A 125 trains today. Only 6 at the most passenger Amtrak. Correct and very, very busy real fans on the weekend are probably 1015 people at the Main Street. I see, you knew you have a new radio one of the podcasts. I can't. I'm wondering what that radio is. It looks like a Motorola. It doesn't have any label one. I'd be curious what that is. I like it. The one that has the red button, which is the man down feature? I'm also a 9 month old dispatcher retired. I also work very heavily in aircraft in thestroy a caged aircraft ad Douglas international airport up until 9:11. My could tell you some interesting news for the things. That what happened during that ti can? Also I work at Syracuse New York. That's how the Bay's rid today. Originally my home base is blue mine. Virginia home of mount weather where Fina headquarters is on a 2012 chase. I'm sure you know about that. Or no of them real fanning. I do a lot of real standing on the East Coast because currently I'm visiting Vero Beach and I do a lot of real fanning. You're video of that? That happened 2 years ago. Is totally different than now. I don't see too many freights on the Lin a Fort Pierce area. I hear more on the radio that I have seen. Oh, I'm seeing is patches or trains. That speak. A passenger train only very, very little freak going um. I've been there for how I come about 9 o'clock in the morning? I get 5 trains and no if any freight. Usually I get one small freak and that's it. And? 24:56 24:56 24:56 How do you seem to have a lovely? AT&T signal 18T and it's best I. Was saying I show horses at and I'll call at the world a question center. I compete FBI Grand Prix. And a meter 40 jumpers. And I didn't catch up before but hadn't had much chance to do any real thing. And I'm Portugal, I've been mainly at the at the fairgrounds. We had in the Pand but anyways, the I noticed you're using the A. Or getting significant, we don't do that. All our real fanning is frequencies and I don't know. Enough about the AR system that you're using? But it doesn't tell me any frequencies at all. That is that is most people up North at du. Royal fanning, we'll tell you the frequency. They don't know nothing about the. And if they do it's, it's, you know, everybody knows lie cap in Fairport on the main line from Albany, how many cell Kirk to Buffalo are you pick up by? 160 dot 800, that's the main line. That would be um. Yeah, I'm Tom yeah, engine and you'll hear. Also, the dispatchers on that LA. LA la LA lare there, signals and so, and and so, so that's another interesting thing I noticed. No, when I was outlawed in Texas on that's just a lot of a Union Pacific, and when I go into Canada, I'm a lot of the of u. P traffic coming in there. I'll also be Canadian national. We see and got a lot of pictures of there's in Syracuse New York. There is a lot of Canadian national that come on, come in to the area and Santa Clara New York. There is safe and going true. I gotta drink a big on the chin. And straight up to Liverpool. New York correctly is anotherwise and job. Up by ohh ohh ohh, I'll, I'll swiggle. Mary snowfall there wit would would shock you anywhere between 2. Maybe 252 150 inches to your snack. It's a year it's not uncommon, but it has been that way for the last 10 years. About 90 inches is it's savage. Is tropical rainforest in the you summer? In New York State and 90 inches for snowfall. In our area, quite a heavy ice load and the old Kodak city of Rochester rochester Rochester has gone dead. So what is Syracuse syracuse shoes?Shave Bah, it's too sad.The hottest real in the the Northeast. We used to have the white yards with Chad.250 tracks and and AA hump. And tracks train station and The community was going down anyways. Siri, choose. Syracuse was going down. We had lost probably 90 pe scent of the industry and Syracuse. Crop shine is the only one still there. There's a candle factory there. GMS moved out Chrysler has moved out. Carrier air conditioning was sold and moved and the new company moved out. There was a Bristol in front. You still Empress, excuse me in salvae. Shall we process no longer is in existence. And they still as the state fair, but the town has depleted. Too unfortunately, swam. Unfortunately, swam the bag. Money building which was filled and. I was built and spent nearly 25 to 200 million on that. They moved out and there is not very, very good. On a report, I moved out a long, long time ago. Then I am a fi add updating things for going bed. And so I moved out and everybody else moved with it. The the railroad in is very heavy. ACS x, no, I'll see, I'll check. Not f****** Southern is basically a took over Erie LA koana. Which is the Southern kill so which basically? There, there is really not much real fanning down there, ma'am, as smand so it's quite quite bad other than Fairport. New York. I guess that's basically that my background, I told you. I do a lot of a merchant communications. I am part of a famous disaster team. And you might say I spend a lot of time in Florida in the summertime, on 2005 and other years I was 15 weeks I was 15 weeks. And New Orleans fruit with Katrina doing disaster reli. Guess that's basically that I like your. I like your style. I think you you have a good background in knowledge on the rail. I take a lot of pictures about 12000 to 24000 pictures every 45 months gap. My website dealing with the railroad and pictures of no, the horse show. Because I do some perfectional photography with the horse show. Average is about 16 and a 1/2 million. That I'm not choking. I'm on laptop. Is explosively picherish a lot of amateur radio emergency communications and I'm like I'm say I'm doing a lot of videos now. Mainly informative, nothing. Um, it's because since Sam send my retired and on vacatiand I'm doing about 4 maybe 5000 pictures a month, which is not as much as I've done before whatever I do usually average. 25. I'm starting to get a lot of I'm starting to get a lot of remote cameras. Then wood dad can be tied into a podcast type slide. Regular type fand. The cameras are quite a bit more pricey than the normal mainly because of remote ranges. I do this so that I can get similar to what you are doing with your drone. I haven't gotten A. I will display quite a bit about drones. Because what they did to the RC industry and the people. But people like you who are doing that. I condone that I understand that is really unique and black guy to say I'd be curious to find out more. How you got into that and how you got Aquaman into the rail with the drone. Because and have you had any problems with that? I don't know. I have you have any problems with that? The determination that you have to have a permit and a number on the drone. So I'm not that interesting. Are you using the or pick you back? Put you back on the television station saw. A license if because of that which is kind of neat and whoever is flying those for you? Whoever is sharing the drone with you is doing a real good job. I think he's got good good. Taste and good skill. Okay, I think I got a lot there. I found your comment section timelime discussing the Brent line. I'm watching that I wish like where's Shawn. Woodbury, this is magic. Would there be a sense of humor that has made trains that you showed? Nowadays, it's only passenger and after an hour you've seen. You've seen everything but that's basically. Say quite that give me a response on the throne. And some of the things I had mentioned. If you have a chance and ha ha ha have time? Peter my cold sign Jing America. 2 Tango papiccielo, my general class license and I've been a hamster since 1958. Yes, long time nice. Really, really nicely done. But of course, with your background, I would expect nothing less.Have a good day hope to hear from you feature

However, in my place, mountain view, CA, the crossing bells ring their bells until the gates go back up. why do the crossings stop the bells? does it depend on a place or the tracks? why do they sometimes NOT stop their bells?

3:58 Hey Danny; you weren't entirely clear about the 'push' dimple. I don't understand the 'pull' reference, there's nothing there to hook up to pull anything. You made it sound like the dimple was dangerous never mentioning that the crews would use a large wood beam to be placed in the dimple's of both the engine & the rail car needing to be pushed onto the main from the customer's siding. It's that wood beam that was the danger. If it got to dry, it could rupture while pushing & send splinters everywhere, very dangerous for the crew. The dimple feature did nothing more then locate the beam. Otherwise great video, thanks for your effort.
