    You realize those fangs also block wind to the motor which causes it to run even hotter than it normally does which will lessen the life of the motor. How do I know this? Oh yeah. I’m well aware about the temps. That was the main reason I wanted them off. Because you used them too, you also can feel how hot your right leg gets. It seems to be a problem with newer bikes. With the windshield ON, the wind comes up and causes turbulence that knocks you around especially with a helmet on and because I sit so far back, it thumps pretty solid on the chest which gets friggin annoying on long rides. Cool review , wouldn’t the Aussie std be more rigid that US standards ? Given you guys in some states can ride without helmets?

    • @rideandgrill
      @rideandgrill Před měsícem

      From what I see, the Aussie standard and ECE are more stringent than our DOT. Supposedly, if you ride here in the US, in a state that requires a helmet and it’s not DOT, you can get a ticket. Even if it’s certified somewhere else, but I don’t know anyone who ever got a ticket. I’m sure it’s happened at some point, somewhere. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.

    Great video, I’m going to order one too! Although I’m not sure what size. I’m a 56.5cm and am not sure between a S or M… I want to order a small but afraid it might be too tight, but also equally afraid of ordering the medium and it being too big. I emailed them, but it’s the weekend. I imagine they’ll get back with me on Monday. Any thoughts?

    • @rideandgrill
      @rideandgrill Před 2 měsíci

      I’m also a 56.5cm, with an intermediate oval head and I order mediums in the DMD helmets. For me,Med is not too tight or loose. But I’m always cautious on suggesting a size because everyone’s head is different. Cheek pads are removable, so you can get smaller or larger to help with fit around the face if needed. Couple tips: don’t be afraid to pull the bottom open to fit it over your head, like a football helmet. If it feels a little loose, try using a bandana worn like a do-rag. Because I’m bald, I do this a lot. If you’re riding without a fairing or windscreen like I do, you may still need earplugs if the wind is too loud. Let me know how it works out for you and if you have any other questions. Thank you for watching, I appreciate it.

      I ordered just like I would any website. Nothing special. On the Brixia Moto website, look in the upper left corner of the page and you’ll see the 3 sandwich lines. Click that. Then touch the grey “country” bar on the top and you can switch it from Italy to united states, US Dollars, and English. That makes it 100% easier because it switches the whole website into English. I’ve used PayPal and Amex, and never had an issue. So far I’ve purchase 3 helmets from them without an issue. If you order, they will send the email in Italian but you can use google translate. They use ShippyPro to keep you updated on where your items are, and they REALLY track it well. Just make sure you check your spam folders to make sure the email doesn’t go there. My yahoo mail constantly puts stuff in my spam.

    I thought it was the regulator,but I wasn't sure the tank wasn't the problem. When I saw that the tank can be the problem, that's what I checked first. Turns out the tank is faulty. Tell your Pop I said thanks,and thank you for sharing!😊

    I tried everything to find the compatible regulator and hose to fix the leaking issue but didn't help. I just exchanged the propane from the store and tried. It worked. Thanks to this gentleman for this simple solution. Note, I didn't pay for the faulty propane cylinder replacement.

      😂 Yeah, that’s my English Pointer, Dixie. She’s 16, has a bunch of lumps and bumps, with a few on her lungs. But she’s on meds and is VERY well taken care of, but she has a cough like someone with COPD. Otherwise she’s great and just keeps going. Thanks for watching and give your pup a few extra treats for us.

    What do I do after buying a new tank? Is there anyway to transfer the gas in the old tank to the new one or what do I do with the one's that is leaking. Sorry I have no knowledge to propane tank at all, and I have the same problem, and I'm afraid it might leak out on its own and it could burn my house down or something, cuz I live by myself and my pets, so my pets are basically by themselves when I'm at work.

    • @rideandgrill
      @rideandgrill Před 3 měsíci

      Thanks for your question. Just note, I am not an expert on propane. If you are unsure about its safety, I would recommend contacting your local propane company for advice. If your new tank is the kind that you exchange instead of refill, take it to the exchange station and have them give you a different one. If you have a tank that you have to refill at a propane fill station, then I would take it to them and have them test it for you. Sometimes it’s just missing a small washer and that may cause it to leak. Until you figure it out I would recommend not keeping the tank hooked up to your grill. Make sure it is closed all the way and keep it away from your home until you can figure out what’s going on. Good luck and let me know what happens.

      Let me know how it works out for you. Hopefully it’s just the tank and not the regulator. But sometimes it is. You should also contact the manufacturer of the grill and explain what’s up. Maybe they can help you out.
