10:00 L is character that constantly lies. He lied when he said he saw Light as a friend, he was actively trying to manipulate Light when he said that. He did not care about friendship. His only desire in the series was to prove that Light was Kira. Another thing is that L is very perceptive in social interactions, he's constantly picking-up on social queues. He showed in many scenes that he can notice when people are acting differently. I would say he's very socially intelligent, yet he doesn't care to act in ways that are seen as socially acceptable.

really fun video, but a few things were a little off (i know im here late but i didn't see anyone mentioning this) -asperger's and "high/low functioning" are outdated terms with some pretty bad connotations (some people diagnosed as aspies might keep that terminology, but as far as im aware its no longer given as a diagnosis). -the commonly portrayed savant narrative is harmful because it implies that you have value as an autistic person only if you contribute to society / are financially successful. savants in fiction are fine but a push for the portrayal of a variety of autistics or even just disabilities is very important. otherwise awesome work. i definitely relate to l a little too much and i really like readings that take this perspective :)

I like how you actually explain the difference between the two that most people don't get and call Aot's ending a copy of Code Geass. Lelouch plays the role of the villain while Eren fully becomes the villain. They have similarities but at the same time they couldn't be more different. Lelouch would try to avoid further bloodshed if necessary. Eren wanted to do this and saw it as the only way because of the future that he himself created.

11:48 i dont believe that is true, Lelouch experienced loneliness as much as eren if not more especially when you realize eren wasn’t alone as armin and mikasa always were by his side and he only pushed them away where as Lelouch couldn’t be with the people he cared about and valued because it put them at direct risk, shirely is evident enough, eren never lost a lover, a brother, or temporarily even a soulmate and closest friend ever. Their loneliness is like comparing naruto to sasukes, sasuke evidently suffered more in loneliness because what he had was taken from him where as naruto never had anything to take from, Sasuke feared to put risk of the people he temporarily made bonds with and thus had to isolate himself from them. And Lelouch definitely sacrificed more because eren was never willing to sacrifice his friends nation or lover for his goal. Where as Lelouch sacrificed his friends, relationships, family, nation, lover, desires, and life and reputation. Lelouch and Code Geass definitely does everything better.

11 months ago I became car homeless. The transition was not easy. The first few months were pure stress. Around the 7 month mark I stopped lamenting my losses. Not by any conscious effort or rumination, I just became ok with the new set of problems living in a car presents after spending 7 months trial and error-ing all kinds of unpredicted scenarios and coming out ok. So now, 11 months in, having lost a lot of friends (or rather, finding out who my real friends are) I can honestly say I can't remember being this content. What am I doing tomorrow? I don't know, depends when I wake up, if anything cool is happening, if I feel like even turning on my phone. And to be clear I don't take any public assistance. I do odd jobs. I work 2 or 3 days a month and that's enough. The point is I gave up on wanting anything that isn't important to have today. When I have no food and I am hungry, then my journey for the day is obvious. All of my problems are immediate and short lived. No bills looming, no work drama, no paperwork. I exist, most days everything is fine, I do what I want or nothing at all, I answer to no one. No boss, no landlord, no room mates. If I am fed, warm, dry, and out of the elements, that's good enough. Icing on the cake is drink, friends, entertainment. Meanwhile, fools delete themselves because of stock market crashes. Imagine being so attached that you couldn't imagine just being here and going through it. I have been referring to my car as "The Spaceship" for 5 months now. I dock at friendly stations when I can, and I spend a lot of time in the black. Life in the spaceship is not comfortable or glamorous. But it is inexpensive, and it's my gorram spaceship.

Honestly, as an autistic person myself I definitely relate to L a lot, and Near too. I have a ton of similar mannerisms myself, like the weird sitting posture, the tendency to play with objects as a thinking mechanism, wearing comfy clothes over presentable ones. Personally though, I don't necessarily think either ARE autistic. The fact that both L and Near are like that indicates to me it's more nurture than nature, and that being raised in an orphanage for detectives is what made them exhibit strange quirks that only superficially resemble autism.
