Please show the water marks on plates and learn to tell the difference with your metals such as brass and bronze and ceramics eg porcelain is worth more than stoneware and Chinese and Japanese pieces are worth more than English ceramics. Most everyone wears dollar store glasses. With readers, you have to have them where you need them, so I buy several pairs and leave them all around the house, so, hopefully, I won't need to search for them when I need them. It's either that, or wear them on your chest for easy access. My MIL used to do that, and there was always food and crumbs on her glasses. So I buy them in bulk.
