Don’t let William bullshit you on the Vodka Stream. He uses definitive statements to disguise his opinions as facts. Next time he tries to tell you “Batman wasn’t met for kids”, remind him of Robin Hood, Treasure Island, and Wizard Of Oz. All 3 had heroes that killed, all 3 rated for general audiences, and all 3 are from that era or before. I work in mental health and I can say from my experience and education that it’s not healthy for him to obsess and gatekeep over ZS, Batman and DC. He thinks he qualified to run a movie studio…he isn’t.

William Powell hates anything that isn’t Snyder. He makes crazy arguments that have all the strength of rice paper. “Batman was never meant for kids”. Why? “Because he killed criminals in DC#27.” Here’s three other IP’s from that era or before that had heroes that killed: Robin Hood, Treasure Island, and Wizard Of Oz. Not only in the books, but onscreen. Batman was created as a competitor to Superman well before the CCA. Adult superhero comics didn’t deal with adult subjects until the 60’s and 70’s. Comic shops didn’t appear until then either. Not a single quote from Bob Kane, Bill Finger or execs at National who owned DC. I looked, nothing. Adults didn’t buy comic books in the 30’s/40’s and William knows it. He likes to thinks so and retcon reality. Just wanted you to know how deep his narcissism and obsession with ZS, Cavill, Affleck, and Gadot runs. He scares away customers.

I am in the minority, but I love BVS. I think it's great. Flawed, sure, but what isn't? I adore this clip and the movie itself.
