Next time he tries to tell you “Batman wasn’t met for kids”, remind him of Robin Hood, Treasure Island, and Wizard Of Oz. All 3 had heroes that killed, all 3 rated for general audiences, and all 3 are from that era or before. I work in mental health and I can say from my experience and education that it’s not healthy for him to obsess and gatekeep over ZS, Batman and DC. He thinks he qualified to run a movie studio…he isn’t.
