🤔Lenny Gravitz said while writing his gfirst album this sounds so familiar. Mean while in the past his parents knocking boots to this lp and nine months later baby Lenny was born .......the rest is history.
dig it
Guitar solo da best
A veces sólo desearía que esta no hubiera sido nuestra canción, sólo puedo extrañarla y pensarla con esta música. Y la letra (que sacamos juntos hace 7 años) sólo hace que me deprima más. When we love, it's forever
I am an old school disco funk fan, nothing else gets me wanting to dance. It amazes me that after all theses years I can still find treasures like this that float my boat. I have only recently found Dynasty and I am nearly 60 and from the UK. Shame I didn't find them in my teens.
1979 and now and forever thank you MR George duck and RIP lovin yaa sir
One of a kind. Awesome music. 👌🏾

Bust down and marrs used trouble funk's lets get small and pump me up.
I was fifteen when this song came out. That guitar solo is legendary. I also love his opening line: “They call me Drac, here I come, baby!”

I feel this would be great pair of divine punishment of hell scenes in the movies.
I recall hoping that Go-Go would supplant Hip Hop as the New Sound of the 1980s...oh well.
I'm 56 and still dropping the bomp..especially when I'm cleaning up the crib..the Go-Go scene hit Philly like a powerful drug..we was craving that shit🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pump me up was Philly's introduction to the DC go-go scene Trouble Funk is some legendary cats that Go-Go music had all the clubs back in the day jumping..The Original After Midnight (13th & Cherry St) and the Wynn Plaza was the spot to be at and a Shot out to Nito's on Broad & Stiles St right across from Mickey Dee's...Pump me up-Drop the Bomb and EU Freeze was my favorite Go-Go jams
aqui estou mais um dia…

Santana remade this on "Santana III" and my mind was blown. My mind is blown all over again.
I remember this jamming to the beat r.i.p. Laurie d and Lance when music meant something
Love Chuck Brown, the great Mayor Marion Barry - both Rest in Power; born & raised in DC... Much love to all of the Original Chocolate City!!! ❤️🖤💚
None of today's music even comes close to this song or others like it. This younger generation missed the boat by a long shot. Sorry for saying the truth.
Loved it then, love it now! ♥️🎶🕺💃🎶♥️.. right on from the UK!👍
