Thanks for the support, every comment helps grow getting my music out there. This is chat gpt. This was about 45 mins of trying to get what I wanted. Then I couldn’t so I ended up chopping up different ideas in photoshop from some of them. I chopped her out, removed the previous character and hashed together the idea of the 100% healthy breath machine that improves brain function thanks to some photoshop work. Chat got tends to produced quite generic images that once you recognise them look a bit lame, but when you dive a bit deeper it gets much more interesting and there is an opportunity to be creative with ideas without the art skills, well actually time.. I want that for the music making. Great to have the opportunity to have some artwork I think up created, because without it, I would simply not have started putting my music on CZcams. I already had 60 hours of my music listened to here, and only just started, and in 2024 that is hard to achieve with tens of thousands of tracks released every day. Happy people choose mine to listen to. Thx

i saw your soundcloud message but couldnt reply for some reason. I might put a short 808 very quietly under a linn drum so you can hardly hear it - but when you turn it up on a big system way better. The best thing to do is to play the sound/kick snare you like in your daw and try and match it with comp and eq and the correct drum sound/drum machine - great way to learn. I started using splice for drum also as I get get an idea out with being bogged down and losing the moment - I usually go back and redo them in some way. You can also sample single percussion which i dont have huge problem with as that is what a drum machine has done anyway and I am not a drummer. I might drop a few db mid high, high cut onkick and snare to let hats through. Subtle sidechaining from the kick drum to the parts lets the kick through. I initially mix at very low volume - taken me years to discipline myself to do this! Good luck!

There is a lot of subtle layering as in the same parts but different synths you can only just hear to give it a more intense sound. Real analog synth bass, can’t match or beat it in the digital world.

@@starhavven I will message/ tag or add a comment here. Sylenth is the most amazing plugin synth of them all when you consider it sounds great and you rarely have to worry about running out of cpu. I ran out of cpu using 2 Roland clouds Jupiter 8s on an Apple silicon the other day, totally useless to me. Sylenth I have had 100 tracks with about 60 Sylenth running on a 7 year old i7!

Honestly I don't use sylenth1 as much as I used to years ago but as you said I don't remember having had many cpu issues with it like I did with Serum for example. I look forward to start using it again, though. I'm in love now with Softube's MODEL 84 , there was a very good deal with that $39 softube's essential bundle. It sounds incredible and the presets are great.
