Serum, Diva or Sylenth1? Guess what the synth presets come from.

  • I have been sound designing synthesizer presets for decades. The choice of what synthesizer to choose out of Diva, Serum and Sylenth1 isn’t that simple. You get wavetable with serum and some really great sounds, Diva has a great filter, but so does Sylenth. My advice would be to learn a synthesizer like the back of your hand. Whatever you choose, if you have the patience to master it, you will get amazing sounds.
Over the last 5 or 6 years I have been quietly cloning my favourite analog synthesizers with a specific soft synth. Every week I have been working on a few. I ended up with with well over 500.
I have learned so much from the process adopting virtual analog techniquies and quirks to get around matching sound as close as possible. Also I will go down the path of adapting them to my own sounds influenced by what I consider the G.O.A.T. Synth sounds.
My biggest plugin synth inspiration would be Omnisphere because they clearly have the very best plugin synthesizer sound designers on the planet in my opinion, and what better reference than the best to measure my sounds by.

Your monitor is shaking big time. Does that not cause you motion sickness?

@@stanislas5418 I will have a look. I made all of these over a 5 year period, used them in my music with 200 000 plays. Decided to make preset pack, it is nearly ready. Keep an eye out.
