I barely have time to play video games, so i just think about them to much
Outward Definitive Edition: The Polarizing Souls-Like Survival Game
Outward is an extremely challenging "souls-like" rpg survival game. It has a tendency to be either hated or loved by those who give it a try. Truly a diamond in the rough. It has extremely innovative and unique mechanics that can get lost in the rough edges of the game.

Baldur's Gate 3 Retrospective | A Fantastic Journey to a Mediocre Destination
zhlédnutí 2,5KPřed 5 měsíci
Baldur's Gate 3 is one of the most enjoyable games i've ever played. I decided to take notes and analyze what makes it great and it's short comings. I know there has been some patches, hotfixes and updates since launch. So maybe some graphically issues I had will no longer be present. At the end the script for this video essay ended up being 38 pages long and over 25k words. This video took an ...

i bought it in PS4 to play it, then I bought a PC and bought the game again to play it, I'm thinking of buying an xbox just to buy it again and play it, this game is just .... *chef's kiss
i hate the backpack mechanic.
idk why anyone would compare this to skyrim they are very different
Yeah the Roman empire definitely part of the Roman empire.....😮💨
Kingdom Come Deliverance is a top tier fprpg
I started playing it this week, and I didn't think it would be such a complicated game at first. It really makes you feel like you're a noob who doesn't know how to do anything. I didn't like this at all, but I understand that it's a realistic videogame, not only in the graphic section, but as a whole. I'm going to give it a chance, because I love RPGs and I think it deserves some more of my time. Let's see what my opinion is once I've played it for a few more hours.
I really enjoyed the fact that time is a factor. I’ll expand on it more with an example: you may have a quest to date Theresa, but if you take to much time to do it or miss the day of the date, the quest is gone. In games like Skyrim you may go a full year or finish all the sub quests at anytime without any consequences for taking to long to do it, but in this game you can fail a quest bcs you let time passed and I do like that ‘cause in real life time is a real factor.
Fine, I'll say it: KCD sucks.
the save system in this game is great, I'm annoyed by it but I'm only annoyed by it because it forces me to play carefully and make more tactical and strategic choices. When I play Fallout or Elder Scrolls I just have a bad habit of saving constantly. Anytime I can sense that I'm coming up on something even remotely dangerous I'll just save and reload. I really love that Kingdom Come forces me to be thoughtful, careful and accepting when I fuck up. It's okay to blow something big in this game because sorry you don't have a choice. So if you screwed up, you screwed up and have to live with it.
I don't know man. I disliked Skyrim. Kingdom come I played maybe 15 minutes. And then I died in jail. It was game over. And I didn't have the urge or need to try again. And the protagonist looks like a moron.
When I first read the title last winter, I chuckled a bit and swiped down to see somethin else. Mind you, I barely started CKD. Now just from the title I agree with you. Also do you like baklava?
Alone from the fighting design i have to disagree the world building and story is good fighting is complete ass i ended up with a sneak build waiting till night so i can sneak kill almost all enemies
If you push through, this game will be such a treat. It’s in my top 5 games of all time. So excited for KC:D 2!
Most games make magic look something ordinary and weak...mages are usually extremely weak characters but with not really that much offensive output and most of the times they are turned into healers to make magic good for something i guess...thats true even for the best AAA games availabe but a fireball to your face SHOULD be more impactful than an arrow (something Bethesda clearly doesnt agree with) in outward...it IS...mages have sacrificed Something to get their magic(in almost every game thats true wether it is being more prone to death or less hp or armor)and in outward you actually get rewarded for it the basic fireball from sigil of fire deals a Very respectable anount of damage matching any kind of physical damage until very late game and thunderstrike is unparalleled in damage among everything availabe in the game...furthermore magic also has utility in this game you can make yourself warm or cold, create light, get boons that normally need consumables, summon allies, create weapons, increase armor, increase resistance, craft rare items, debuff enemies, heal allies, make traps, the list goes on...even counting impact no single simple skill beats the magic push(forgot the name actually) and when combined with the right sigil it also can get unparalleled by anything else, overall the magic system may not look as flashy as dragons dogma,or as varied as skyrim or elden ring but they have done it SO fundamentally right that you just cant compare them
You should be locked in fucking prison
I love this game I've only been playing for a few weeks, the only thing I really hate is when you fast travel and can't avoid a fight and get jumped by six cumans cuz my horse bucked me off. Other than that this game is stellar
That's not exactly a high bar.
I’m only at the beginning of Kingdom Come Deliverance so far (doing the first night watch quest) but this is how I’d rank the open world games I’ve played in the past few years: F:NV>>>>>RDR2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>KCD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fallout 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Skyrim
They’re making outward 2. I get wet thinking about it
I tried a few times. I just can't get into it.
It took me a long time to get into this game, at first I sucked at sword fighting and lockpicking which totally put me off, but eventually I came back and stuck with it and once it 'clicked' I couldn't stop playing, it was astounding. Such a simple setting with many common activities that would've occurred back in that time period, yet it was so fun and well written. Something about living the simple life of a blacksmiths son and working your way up is really endearing. The world is so lively and full of character. I adore this game.
KCD’s biggest strength IMO is what turns most people away. Combat. It takes so long to get Henry to 1vs.1 a peasant and win. So when that first time after u get jumped by 2-3 Knights (Cumen?) and think I’m so dead, but then win!? Ah man it’s so satisfying.
I made the mistake of playing in Hardcore mode in my first play through... which made it into a realistic nightmare. Hated getting lost, till I was able to find my way around by looking at the Sun or the landmarks! It felt very satisfying. Same with the combat system, starts horrible in hard in hardcore, then you learn it, there is no way around it. You just learn it, after getting your arse kicked several times of course.
So any 3rd person action rpg is souls like?
all I gotta to do is turn on some Oblivion music while playing and I'm right at home loved that game
I like the voiced protagonist in FO4 gives me more immersion
Actually........... It is.
Nah, it's not. There's very little game play, you walk and talk most of the time. Combat has good foundation, but it's just buggy as fock and enemies have more moves than you have.
Same feeling here. Way more fun on Kingdome come than on Skyrim.
Great! It just downloads and I will play tomorrow for the first time. Can you be a rogue/assassin kind of guy? And can you be an asshole and still play till the end or will the main story then don´t work?
I think saved in this game should be based on the clock rather than exit saves. Maybe have it save everytime you hear the clock strike hourly or at 6 and 12 . I think that would be a cool way of doing it as exit saves tempt u to abuse it
Ur smoking crack if you think the combat in kcd is better than Skyrim fr
Skyrim combat is so boring
I too was one of those who started this game and got discouraged by getting killed every time I'd go into combat and the system in general but I love RPGs and this historic period but seeing as KCD2 is coming out, I really want to give this a new attempt. Thanks for the video!
if the developers treat this new game opportunity well this could grow well beyond their imagination i think it has real potential whether or not anyone see it.
Its better BY FAR!!!!
I was turned away from the game at the beginning, too hard and too realistic, then i went to Skyrim, i actually started to miss being weak and part of society, instead of a demigod, then i returned and fell in love, Skyrim and KCD aren't really comparable, they're too different despite being RPGs
I am going to start my journey tomorrow for the first time! This video makes me really excited for it!
But no magic
Literal terraria-based quality of game. If you're shit at this game you deserve it tbh.
Guess what
No, just no 😂
Yes, just yes 😂
Of course it's better than Skyrim. Getting kicked in the shin is better than Skyrim. Skyrim is an awful game.
Playing this rn, was just thinking this and now suddenly it's on my feed, the thought wasn't but a minute ago
I'd say Skyrim is more fun, but KCD is the better game in all other aspects
Hey, listen! Oh boy....
I bought it back in 16 as a physical disc, but I was unsatisfied with all the bugs that made the game unplayable. Now all these years later I heard so many good things about kcd so I wanted to play it again, but I realized that my physical copy disc has suffered a lot over the years and the install failed. I had to buy the digital version for 40€ with includes all dlcs, and well in hindsight it was the best decision in my life. Game is super polished and nothing like on release. The DLCS are all some interesting and add a lot to the value of the game. Im super happy I invested the money into this
You sold me with come-like.... But maybe not in the way you intended
Right before you said "the weapons and armor in this game are super lackluster" you had mentioned that the enemies were damage sponges and it was a slog etc. at that moment in the video i looked at your weapons...yup there's your problem. Your kit had no synergy with itself or your class. The game gives your freedom: including the freedom to make low power choices, and i think you accidentally made a whole lot of accidental weak choices. An example: i also hated the unstoppable mechanic, then i realized; hit it with a bunch of low dmg attacks like a machine gun. It shreds away the stacks. Magic missle ALWAYS hits, and it can hit like 7 times in one cast...so...bam. mechanic ignored
Who kills mommy laezel immediately!? 😂
...this coming from somebody that has yet to have Wyll make it past act 1 alive after 3 playthroughs...Boooal demands sacrifice afterall
Just started KCD, one of the best games I’ve ever played.
6:30 you infor on Gathering is wrong, its affacts more than just the gathering range, it affects your horse status and makes easier to level up strengh too.
