I'm trying to repair about 250 wiimotes and one of the more common problems im coming across with some of these is the wiimotes work, but have inverted motion controls. Can you please give me some insight as to how to fix this? Thanks a ton!

Those two 512 (5.1k ohm) resistors @4:48 are on CC1 and CC2 pins on the USB Type-C connection, a quick and dirty way to pull 5V at up to 3A from a charger.

What you SHOULD have done was repair the broken pads first, then attach the USB C port.

soak the whole thing in vinegar, then wash with de-ionised water. dont dremel away the sulfates you can damage the traces, i soak pc motherboards it doesnt ahrm them as long as you dont leave it in for too long. it fixes the corrosion perfectly.

Looks like it's been mod in the past to either overclock or convert to ntsc. It was probably cocked up and the mod chip removed to go in a different machine. Like with the PlayStation some games never got released in the uk
