I disagree with you wholeheartedly Isaac! Nobody you mentioned that you'd like to see us get involved with makes us that much better that it's worth losing ANYBODY we already have to a transfer or bad team chemistry. In my humble opinion of course.

You can only play 5 players at a time. We have 4 star players riding the bench and two 5 star freshman coming in. Lets play the guys who chose UNC. As mentioned below, the only other position we need is a true center.

I'll be honest, I couldn't agree less about chemistry not being as important in today's age. Look no further than 2 years ago. Arguably a more talented UNC squad didn't make the tournament while this year's team won the ACC and made the Sweet Sixteen. Chemistry is important and we shouldn't make it a side factor. Just my take though; still a great episode!

Issac, like you I am ecstatic over the team Coach Davis has assembled for next season. It's a powerful line-up 1-5. It's a line-up that again looks like a national contender. But I still believe we need Ugonna Onyenso, Coleman Hawkins, or Treyvon Brazile to solidify a Final Four run. I know Carolina believes in always staying financially solvent with its athletic programs, but just this once could we break into the piggybank and bring home one of these diamonds.

Already have more than enough .... there is a word for it .... logjam. Also, recruiting over players may bring a flow of negative energy.

Love our team. Definitely not a traditional Carolina squad, but the boys can make it work. The key is we need everyone to buy in on defense, rebound by committee, and play gritty. We are LOADED 1-3, so we just need our bigs to play solid enough. I expect us to be excellent offensively. Elliot is working on the jumper, and he’s gonna get our shooters looks all day. RJ and Cade are deadeyes, and we have stretch bigs to spread the floor. This team’s identity runs through the guards. Look at Houston last year. Such a small team but still phenomenal defensively. Nobody over 6’8 had serious minutes for them. We don’t need to be massive to win, but we need everyone to buy in. And we don’t need another 3/4. Either grab a big strong center for a defensive anchor or roll w what we have. Go Heels! 🐏

Think I trust our coaches. To figure it out. If they can't figure it out, then nothing else matters who they bring in. I am not a general manager and I do not know what's going on. But I do trust human davis Maybe often they should try that. If it don't work, then we could get that help for not working, but for now, all you all Sideline, coaches need the chill out. Well, there have been years - including the Dean Smith Era - when UNC fielded less talented teams and had less than desired performance, and that's just how it goes sometimes. Fans can become fanatical in their pursuit of their own selfish desires, becoming unreasonable in their expectations.

I firmly believe that the reason we struggled to get a 5, is because Hubert wouldn't promise starting minutes over Jalen Washington. Remember UNC basically grabbed Cade Tyson who other than Koby Brea was easily the best shooting transfer (Hubert's number one requirement) right off the bat. It makes more sense that the minutes not the NIL money was the factor for not being able to get a starting center. Jalen Washington needs to improve strength and lateral quickness but his 3 point shooting at the 5 (.533 in limited attempts) opens driving lanes like no other center in college basketball. If his defense is adequate (he is a good shot blocker) and he doesn't get pick and rolled off the floor, his offense makes them elite especially in the half court. I expect him to come back quicker and stronger this year. Also, don't sleep on Zayden High. Everyone knows about that sophomore jump. Withers has highlight athleticism but he's an inconsistent 5th year senior. Alot of people don't know or forget Zayden had a massive (8 inch growth spurt in H.S.) and went from a back court player to a front court player. He has the handles and shooting ability along with the motor. I think Hubert will be hard pressed to bury him. I hope Hubert opens up his bench this year even more but we will see. Finally, and I doubt he'd do it, but Hubert could run a dedicated 2nd team of 5 and press. You could throw, Seth, Ian, Drake, Withers, and Zayden out and full court press. That group would be nuts and would be able to get in an up and down game to take advantage of all that athleticism. It would be a great way to get the bench minutes, would be exciting and would tire the opposing team out so the starters could come back in and have an easy time against tired players.

This teams success depends on HD finding an happy medium in the playing time. I think if he play them the way you guys are saying there will be a mutiny by the end of the season so I will give you a more reasonable team with times. RJ 26min, elliot 24 min, Cade 25 min J whit 20, and Jwash 24 starting 5. TRIMBLE 20 MIN, IAN 19 MIN, DRAKE 18 MIN, VANLUBEN 22, and 2 for High. If he do that and really push the ball with hard nose defense I bet they will win at a high level as well as keep everybody happy. A happy team where everyone participate is a happier team

I don't think Jalen Washington's physical condition is still a concern. He was injured in high school 3 years ago.

Drake Powell once again being underestimated. He will challenge Seth as being the best wing defender. His offense is also underrated.

This guy have no faith in Washington. He is gonna be so wrong. Washington will have a breakout year. I believe that's why a lot of people didn't come, not just the money, but they couldn't promise them a starting job. Because they believe in Washington. We will see

Drake and Ian are not ready yet so Elliott at the 1 RJ at the 2 Tyson at the 3 Van Allen at the 4 and Washington the man in the middle at the 5 and with that bench final 4 team

I think we should remember our bigs have great length foot speed and with Powell and Jackson gives us so much versatility at the 3 and 4. This team will be so interesting to watch and create so many problems. What will hurt us will be a big mobile man and I’m hoping J Wash will bulk up over summer and solve that problem.
