Picture phones - heard about them, but they wouldn't have worked on a landline. Transmitting images took too much bandwidth.

Visited the Centralia Antique Fest on Friday (wished we could have gone on Sat. to maybe see you) and now realize that we were in your booth, wonderful things. We also visited Shady Lady and the store with all the lighting parts, & just about every other one. Don't forget the Ace Hardware Store: probably the only hardware store that also has antiques and collectibles. At Shady Lady, I found a beautiful vase just marked "crackle vase". I wasn't sure, but thought it was marked Fenton, but bought it for the color and crackle. At home, under the light, the mark is Fenton, & I think from what little I can find (a single picture & description) it may be : twilight blue iridescent carnival crackle ruffle vase 8" tall, nothing on age or value. I was pretty sure that it was worth more than the approx $18.50 that I paid, but even if it wasn't, I still would have loved it because itis beautiful. Had a great time, saw lots of wonderful treasures.

I was going crazy with the Afghans for a while there but then decided I needed to concentrate on certain kinds and the cotton is what I zeroed in on because their softer and more comfy because I actually use mine sometimes as well as collect them. Otherwise, I was buying every single one I found LOL

Looking forward to visiting the Antique Fair this weekend and bringing a couple of items for appraisal. Since you’re there for a block of time does one need to pick a time slot in which to have items appraised?

Hey George! 👋 Your space looks amazing! The trunk looks fantastic with the blankets. Something to consider and old ladder secured to a wall in your booth makes a great display for linens and other odd items taking up less space by going up! I'll be surprised if the trunk lasted the weekend. ❤❤❤😊

Hey George. I like the little red sewing machine, on top of the steriliser cabinet. There was a vase, to the right of the Czech glass ones, that caught my eye. It looked like porcelain, with scenes on it. The Doulton _Tapestry_ vase is definitely my taste. I have an English mirror similar to the ones there. It is mounted on a wood back, and it is heavy. It hangs by a chain. I really liked the Scottish Eastlake secretary desk. It would definitely be worth $410.00, to me. Those book stores would occupy a lot of my time. That would be a fun place to spend a weekend!
