Big score on the afghans! I'd love the ones you didn't take!
Phyllis Diller 😆 yes!
Love your Phyllis Diller reference!
Just down the street!
That was fun. ❤ JoAnn
All those afghans would sell! You hit a goldmine! 💙
I always wonder at so much new stuff. Just the mugs alone could service humans for at least 4 generations! 😊✌️🇬🇧
Oh I did not know about the cotton afghans! New eyes for me on afghans. My friend Peggy loved them George, she passed a few years ago, her color was pink. We thrifted did sell in booths and auctioned together, we did so much together, sounds crazy but I can go and all of a sudden pink Pink starts popping into my views and when I see pink, she leads me to something I will love. Sounds nuts, I say Hi Peggy let’s shop! I don’t know why I dumped this on you, I guess cause we see the same things. I’m on a journey into my own store at 64! When I get done you guys have to come!
Aww, how fun! It's hard when a friend you do this with is gone, but you end up with lots of happy memories and yes, people stay with us
Yeah I've got a lot of those I'm collecting that is a dying art and also have some for babies that we going to be having❤❤❤❤❤
Wild George, that was so fun, the Afghans were absolutely beautiful. You and Zino have a good Eye. Safe travels 😊😊😊😊😊
The afghans are gorgeous.
Fun video!!😊
✨❤️🧡💛💚💙💜✨
Home and Garden party was popular in the 80’s and 90’s. It was sold at house parties similar to home interiors. That bird house pattern was popular I use to have all the pieces. Funny how everything eventually comes around.

I much prefer cotton to acrylic. haven’t tried selling afghans.
Ole George! (Sombrero)
Loved the afghans you picked out.
But then i just can't turn down anything that has so many colors on it!
And flowers power!
Wow!
I was born just a couple years too late.
Caught the tail end of all the flower power hippie things that i love to this day!
Great video too.
That vendor mall in SpokNe Valley has some parking lot vendor sales sometimes too!
Most of our locally made in Nova Scotia affagans are nade of wool due to a local wool factory and the price being so much more affordable
Cousin It!😂
Another day spent in Afghanistan....now that was funny!! 😂🤣
Red n black univ of ga colors go dawgs
03:29 THAT's my sewing machine, or at least the same model. My uncle bought the top of the line for my grandmother new, and I've still got it. Still using it. My other granny made those granny square blankets. If they're tightly crocheted and brightly colored, run off with them.
It's so pretty there
Value village! I haven’t been there for a while. It was always pretty good. I’ve gotten some good stuff there. The one in Yakima is gone 😢
Luv short shorts
Beautiful finds hun. Especially the afghans❤❤❤ wow!!! Sew hard to pick. New subscribers here😂😂😂
Cousin It? lol … Nice selection of Afghans to choose from . Ones here in the thrifts tend to get picked over very fast . I know someone who found sterling baby spoons (5 of them ) and a sterling ball that parents put their baby’s teeth in , on the baggie wall of Savers here .
I was a cashier at Value Village in Spokane around 40 - ish years ago.
Wow that long. 😯
It was across from the Coliseum on Boone st.
George what size Aloha shirt do you wear?
I think we have some in our Goodwill box that'll fit you. 😉🤙
Hi George and Xeno. Hope that you are having a good Spring. I wanted to cross the state to see the Spokane show, but it just didn’t work out. When will you be in Centralia?
We don't know nothing bout infants n layettes
I have been to Value Village in Spokane! ----- while my son was playing in basketball training ---- That is all he did in Spokane was play basketball. And all I did was thrift at places around Spokane. What are the best places to thrift in Couer D'Alene and Spokane part of the world??
I'm wondering why they are named Afghans? You got a great deal on them.❣️
Apparently they derive from loose woven wool shawls the English first saw in use in Afghanistan to keep dust off during carriage rides in the desert
Buyh76😮
Don't enjoy the acrylic ones. Like the colors.
Hi
Hi George, thank you !
