You don't have to add glue. Hotfix rhinestones already have glue on them that is activated by the heat of the tool.

Oh dear 🤔 is it all the cords or just a few? You could try adding cord using reverse larks head knots with a half hitch each side but you would need to stagger them so that there are no holes. I would try maybe every 5 cords or so add a new one and pin the short one you are replacing out of the way. Do a few each row until you have replaced all the short cords. I hope that helps. It's a lot of work for this bag so don't give up!

sadly all are too short. could it be that my cord was thicker than i thought and thats the reason its shorter?

@@sarahsho9799 yes that could be a reason and also looser tension. I have only tried this bag with 3mm cotton cord and the cord lengths are what I used in the video. If you have more cord, I would try unwinding a few rows and adding cord over those few rows. Do a CZcams search for 'how to add cord to macrame'

Did you use 4mm cotton cord? If so, your tension may be too loose

The pattern starts at the 150cm mark. So all the cords are different lengths but each cord starts at 150cm (in the correct order). Then at the end of the pattern the remaining cord should be about 150cm so that both sides have 150cm left for the remainder of the bag. I hope that makes sense and doesn't sound more confusing 🙏🤞

I can't change the video now but will do that for the next one. You just place the cords on your board or rack from the centre and hold them in place with clips while you do the first few rows of square knots. I hope that helps 😊

Thank you so much. The bag is about 15cm tall, 23cm wide and 10cm deep (at the widest point). The 80cm cord added to the side panel (at 30 minutes) is done only one time. To convert from 4mm to 3mm I would keep the length the same but add 2 extra 430cm cords to the first pattern. So the pattern would be 8 cords instead of 6 and use 4 filler cords instead of 2 for the square knots in the centre of the pattern. I would also add one extra 320cm cord on each side in the last loop in the arch. So 2 instead of 1. These changes will add 2 extra square knots to the width which should keep the same dimensions. Then do 2 or 4 extra rows. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and please let me know how it turns out 😊
